There are plenty of reasons to be shy....

I guess a bank heist or murder might give one pause to reflect on the wisdom of showing your head on the forum TC.

And I can understand the need to avoid the wife and kiddies knowing what daddy does on business trips too. So that probably absolves many (about 30%? who knows) of the posters.
