I can see your point Lefty. Unfortunately there are some downsides to fame and fortune as well.
On one hand the Carradine family will be facing loads who will symphathise but on the other hand also many who ridiculise (behind their back).....

Anyhow, I for one apologise for any crude remarks I made ( I believe only comparing with Michael Hutchence and that Brit politician)

Los Angeles - An autopsy conducted in the United States has determined that actor David Carradine did not commit suicide, forensic pathologist Dr Michael Biden said Thursday.

The Kill Bill star, 72, was found dead in his Bangkok hotel room last week and initial reports indicated that he may have died as the result of a sexual practice known as auto-erotic asphyxiation.

Carradine's family asked the Federal Bureau of Investigation to probe the case after receiving contradictory reports from Bangkok police on the possible causes of the former Kung-Fu star's death.

In a brief statement to the press, Biden, the former chief medical examiner for New York City, also ruled out suicide as a cause of death. But he said that more information was needed from Thai authorities before reaching a final determination of how Carradine died.

Baden conducted the autopsy in California after the body arrived from Thailand earlier in the week.

All of these farang found dead cases interest me. I'm just glad I never opened the paper and found my head hanging off a bridge on the front page.



Seriously how many cases are there where we never hear more than a farang found dead of overdose? They don't even keep track of those numbers. I don't think the BIB investigates too much unless its someone like Carradine or a head in a plastic bag hanging off a bridge.

I read the same thing... kinda figured its a stupid article as no one has even suggested he tried to commit suicide (as i always assumed that meant killing oneself deliberately)

I never thought is was a suicide. Just because it wasnt ruled a suicide doesn not necessarily mean that there was a conspiracy/more than just himself involved.

If it were an accidental death, then it would not be considered a suicide. Am I correct to assume that or what??

Mr Michael Baden pathologist and expert defence witness in the cases of OJ Simpson and Phil Spector, was hired by the family to perform a second post-mortem...

Another motivating factor for having a 2nd pathologist, might be life insurance payout. Most policies will not pay out in the event of suicide.

Perhaps i shouldnt mention it but I will anyway. The NEW YORK POST had yet another hilarious headline. Now I know its in poor taste but dont hate me for having a chuckle: "HUNG FU"

There was also a terrible story a few months ago when some idiot old lady kept a 200 lb pet chimp. Well this chimp went bersrerk and mauled a friend of hers. It practically ripped her face off. NY POST headline: 'FURIOUS GEORGE"
