The first Local and County Council election results will make Stogie a happy man.
In Bristol the BNP averaged 10% across the city with one area giving them 17% of the vote.
Bristol is not really BNP territory - looks like there could be big shocks in London, Yorkshire and Lancashire as the Labour Party vote is wiped out.

The BNP may get a higher than expected vote in council elections but the real shock will be on Sunday when a dispirited nation turns to the BNP and elects 5 seats to the BNP for the EU parliament...
Labour is a spent force. Brown will be gone by Monday.
It's still a surprise to find how under-reported the BNP results are.
The media and government are truly scared.

I've been cautiously optimistic about the BNP situation in both the local council elections and the EU playground... but I was amazed to see that they actually have three council seats so far!
What does it mean? Well, actually it means fuck all. It's symbolic really, but it does lend credence to the feelings that the BNP have made an impact on this round of ballots.
It's the first time that the BNP have actually beaten rivals in a 'winner take all' vote... which makes you think that for the first time the electorate are considering this party as a viable voting option... unless you really believe that people who vote BNP do so because they don't like the Labour party!
If so - keep your head well buried in the sand!
On Sunday the true power of political suicide (Labour), political complacency (Conservatives), and political hopelessness (LibDems) will finally enable a voice that speaks for Britain into that crappy bungling and corrupt shit hole that is the EU!
I predict that the BNP will get THREE seats in the EU wasteland... and if it works well enough with a few more Right orientated parties, it will finally bring the EU to it's knees and dissolve it's fucking useless Nazi regime once and for all...

Looks like anyone with a brain is gonna apply for Dutch membership soon. It seems this is the only country so far that has the bollocks and determination to actually determine it's own future!
Fucking UK is a waste of space and the subzero cunts that still vote Labour deserve to be exterminated.
Do I sound like a Nazi? I fucking hope so!

There is still a ways to go before all the results are in but I have been crunching some numbers.
Votes for so called 'fringe parties' have tripled in the last ten years to about 11% of the total vote.
What is scary though is that despite everything more than a fifth of the electorate would still vote Labour if we had a general election.
Basically, we are stuck with a large proportion of the country who have an IQ of about 40 or who have been horribly brain damaged.
It sends out a clear message that reads "Hi - I'm British and I am too fucking stoopid to think for myself therefore I have decided to live on benefits and die in front of the telly watching Big Brother!"
What a damn shame... Oh well... I'm off out for a swim!

(Stogie @ Jun. 06 2009,04:07) Fucking UK is a waste of space and the subzero cunts that still vote Labour deserve to be exterminated.
They will come back, too many people in the UK have grown up voting Labour, they will just need a reason to do so again. But they won't support them through what has been a spectacular own-goal with the finances scandal.
Spit in the face of the electorate as they have done & people will be itching to deliver pay-back. It is democracy in action, govern well & you need never fear public retribution.
The Conservatives are likely to romp home, gawd, if they can't win this one, then what hope do they have? However the BNP will play a vital role in the next election. Under the Westminster system every person who votes for a minor party gets a second vote. They choose candidates by voting 1 for the 1st choice, 2 for their 2nd, etc...
It is a wonderfully fair & just system & people can achieve a protest vote & still support their preferred major party. And that is where the BNP can exert enormous leverage.
Should the BNP poll well in the local & European elections & the polls show the support there for the general election then the horse trading will be on in earnest for the BNP's preferential vote.
The BNP will issue "how to vote" cards at each polling station showing where they would like their supporters to direct their preferences. Imagine if the results for the BNP come in at double figures? The Conservatives & the Labour Party would be falling over themselves to do a deal with the devil because as little as 5% support could swing the election.
If BNP support came in at 15% or higher, Gordon Brown would be offering Nick Griffiths the position of Home Secretary, such is his over-arching ego to succeed.
The consensus here on the forum is overwhelmingly negative towards the BNP & given some of their stated positions, I can't argue that. However when a country finds itself with as many problems as the UK then the stage is set for these hardline parties to emerge with their radical solutions.
Their policies may offend some who wish to keep the status quo, who look out at their picket fence & can't see the troubles brewing because they choose not to. But desperate times call for desperate measures. The BNP have too many guns aimed against them to win a general election, but they can influence public policy simply by being highly visible & saying what so many want to hear.
And if Labour gets enough things going right for them between now & the next election & the result is close, there is a chance that the BNP could hold the balance of power. Now that would really make life interesting...Despite the high cost of living, it continues to be popular.
