The trouble with that RR is it's the most read paper in the UK.
Now what does that say about the country.


All in all it's still a great place to live. London is still one of the best capitals in the World. If I couldnt retire to south east Asia or Ireland, then i would have no problem seeing out My last days in the UK.

Immigration was required for the UK as the birth rate was 1.63 back in 2001, and has spiked up in 2007 at 1.9. The required birth rate to keep the population stable is 2.1.

If the population shrinks, this creates problems for the workforce, pension support, etc. Most developed countries face this problem. Women in developed countries don't like to have more than 1 or 2 children at the most.

Since you cannot force women to have big families, the only other option is immigration. The major problem is how to implement it.

The UK gov't went with an open doors policy and it has created more problems than solving them. Voting in the BNP is not a solution because shutting down immigration will only create another problem in the future.

You guys who support the BNP - have you even talked to people who support the Liberals and Conservative to attempt change like I posted about in post 51?

Democracy works best when people participate - and that means more than just voting in a party. Of course this also means work and making intelligent decisions. What do you think would happen if say 10-15 riding executives in the Labor and Conservative parties were changed to executives who would nominate candidates that wanted rational and good government? That would be the beginning of true change for the better, and not simply voting for a right wing fascist BNP.

That's very nice and all that but we as a nation don't have the luxury of time to make long subtle political maneuvers over the next 50 years to fix an issue that can be fixed inside a year.

These so called 'filler groups'  have been made up of the very poorest and least likely to contribute to society. To say that immigrants are going to eventually become integrated and chip in for our welfare system, health care and pensions is... well, optimistic at best!

If this really was the case why didn't we simply open the doors to New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the USA before rolling out the magic carpet to "Treasure Island" to the filth of the world? The dirt poor, the Muslims who want to topple our basic Christian principles and culture, to the multitudes of murderers, rapists, thieves and fanatics...

Integration doesn't work. We are looking at what happens when you try it. These people are not integrated... there is no "melting pot" in the UK. It's a shoddy mismatch of a gaudy mosaic at best. People don't want to live amongst strangers and that includes the people who come here to get drunk on our amazing free gift culture of so called 'benefits.' Although how these free cash pay outs actually benefit society is just anybody's guess!

A true 'asylum seeker' would be happy just to make it to Europe. ANYWHERE in Europe. But no... they are all on their way to the UK. Why is that?

They can get protection and shelter anywhere in Europe, but they want to skip the duties that merit protection and go straight for the gold! Britain!

The mayor of Calais wants her town to become a "passport free" zone so that millions of immigrants can flood in to the UK easily. So far I haven't heard the current government of baboons say that it won't happen... just that they are not ready to sign the agreement just yet!

What hope do we have when the only dividing line that separates us from disaster is finally gone?

Well, the UK will be a third world country in less than a year. The sheer weight of numbers will force the local governments to collapse. There aren't enough police and military to protect the innocent from rape, murder and thieving on such a massive scale. You'll think you are living in South Africa.

Someone said "Why complain? You're in Thailand!" Well, that's like saying "Why change your underpants, they'll just get dirty again!"

You'll see... The integration of society has done more to disintegrate it than at any time in history.
