We live in an age of 'Celebrity', as these folks are always seeking way's to outdo the competition, just how long will it be before we have a ladyboy/transvestite appearing on the arm of some superstar at something like the Oscars.

What im getting at is, do you think having a ladboy as a partner will be as acceptable in the West as having a gay partner. Remember It's not too long ago that the gay scene was still very much frowned upon.
I think, within the next ten years at most, Ladyboys will become THE thing to be seen with, and the whole scene will be pretty mainstream.

Although Hollywood is a very left leaning place, how many big name starts (especially male) are "out". Its about $$$$$$ and box office. Certainly there are gay male leads but it would hurt their careers at the box office.

So to extrapolate that out to someone having a LB partner, methinks its a long way off. sad but true....

There was an attractive MtF transgender on the show "Dirty Sexy Money." It's been canceled now though.
