Chinese LB YouTube video...

Quite a while ago, I posted that China might become the next mecca for lbs lovers, due to the gender imbalance around 107 boys for every 100 girls born.

Well, I found a Youtube Video featuring a Chinese lb who is quite lovely! Not proof that my theory is correct, but interesting none the less! Sorry, I don't know her name or contact details.

Well, rxpharm, I wish you were correct but I'm afraid this is not going to happen for a long time.

There are absolutely none where I live - dongbei.
There might be a few in Beijing and Shanghai, etc. but a lot seem to be passing through from other countries.

I'm sorry having to say this but this entire society seems pretty f***ed up about all kinds of sex-issues. Almost like a taboo.

Whatever happens, I will not be around by then. Will decamp later this year. It is definitely an amazing country and culture but the fun-factor, more so for people my age group, is very limited.

Can't even find a deent gg with decent English and not wanting you to sign a marriage agreement on the first date.

I wonder whether this has always been like this or whether the communists have changed this.

On the other hand I have lived in Cuba for a while which is communist too, but boy was life good there. They even have lbs by now.

I cannot verify this is a Chinese lb - it was posted on Youtube by a newhalf fan - who has a big collection of videos. She looks like she might be an lb - fairly flat chest, and very pretty face.

If anyone can read Chinese and understand Mandarin, that might give some more clues.

This week in talent contests: Has China found its own Harisu?A gorgeous contestant, wearing blue stockings, white heels, and a colorful dress, went on a talent show and blew judges away. Not because of his singing voice, however, but because the contest was "Super Boy," and he looked (and sounded) every bit like a ... she.

Check out the video on the right, in which, during his performance, he is repeatedly interrupted by the incredulous judges. ChinaHUSH was awesome enough to provide snippets of translation, especially from the most suspicious judge, Annie Rose (安妮玫瑰):

Geez, Ms. Rose, don't ya think he would have gone through all that "identification business" during the registration process? Human flesh search? Ouch.

Liu Zhu (刘著) was apparently born in Nanchong Sichuan and a student at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music. The judges appear to be at a loss of what to do next -- but it seems that, by and large, netizens are supportive of Liu Zhu's participation (Annie Rose's cynicism notwithstanding). Liu Zhu's Baidu Wiki page also indicates that he has long been accepted by his friends, family and teachers -- and that he identifies as a "she."

Given the somewhat delicate situation of transgenders and transsexuals in China, we can't help but welcome the dialogue and the attention. However, Liu Zhu's choice of "Super Boy" as a launching pad invites some questions: given his self-identification, would he have been better off trying out on "Super Girl" instead?

So yeah, Korea may have Harisu, and Taiwan may have Regine Wu. But maybe China has just found something that will give those two a run for their money?

I showed the link to a few friends who are native Chinese and they all concluded that she's a GG. I saw her and I think she's a GG as well - a lot of chinese girls are flat-chested and beautiful. I wish she was a LB but unfortunately maybe not.

I doubt china will become the ladyboy mecca that we hope. culturally and politically, there just isn't a good environment to encourage this. what's actually happening is that a lot of vietnamese women, as well as burmese and malays are being brought in as brides.

I think it's possible she's an lb - there are some passable Chinese ts on other videos.

The potential most certainly is but things that just came to my mind:

Like in Thailand, when does the transformation usually begin? Often very early and I even heard that in some families turning a boy into a young lb starts at a very young age as this will guarantee the family a certain "income" later on. Rather easy in Thailand, where families still have a number of kids, so "sacrificing" one to the lb-gender is not such a big issue.

In China, on the other hand, the one-child-policy is still rather rigorously in effect and "losing" a precious boy to the lb-gender would mean tremendous loss of face for the entire family.

In addition, there is absolutely no leeway for boys dressing up like girls within the educational industry, the family and society in general.

If I am not mistaken the katoey-thing in Thailand goes back many many years or generations and might almost be considered a "tradition". As Westerners we might even only see the tip of that iceberg?

I certainly wish China would "produce" sweet-looking lbs, but I can't see it happening in the time frame while I might still be able to enjoy it. Good luck to future generations, though ;-)

BTW, one more thing I wanted to add. I was in Kunming (Yunnan province) recently to check out a job opportunity. While walking the city a bit later at night, I think I saw one SW who looked and moved pretty like an lb, but perhaps he/she was just a good cross-dresser.

Problem is that apart from some places in the major cities like Beijing, Shanghai and perhaps Guangzhou, unless one speaks Chinese, communication is very, very difficult as extremely little E is spoken. Apart from that the sex industry does not at all cater to the foreigner but almost entirely to the local Chinese. There aren't just enough of us around to bother with.

When living up north and going to local bath houses which are actually like brothels with fishbowls, etc., I was always the only laowai (foreigner). Considering that conversation with us is difficult, that we might have different expectations from a hooker and often our appearance - more body hair, bigger cocks, etc. is different, why should they even be bothered with us if that place is full with locals.

But usually they do their best to accommodate you, but if you walk, no one really cares. In more touristy places they will try to cheat you.
