A far better punishment is to force them to endure the same situations they forced onto others (well, short of death), for the rest of their lives.

    ...except Robert Mugabe celebrated his 85th birthday last week.

As both punishment & a lesson to all despots, Mugabe should be the subject of an officially sanctioned "hit" by the UN.

That would have 3 immediate benefits -

       *  Zimbabwe would be free of the bastard
       
       *  others following him would know what to expect if they carried on the same

       *   the UN would go some way towards redeeming their impotent reputation
