If we pick the games a few days in advance can we edit our picks up to the deadline of when they picks need to be made by?
For example, I think it is too early to make the picks now, but would make some preliminary picks just in case I don't get back to the site by the cutoff for making them.

Think it's a good idea to be able to revise picks with a new post otherwise people will whine like pussies that their internet was down blah blah blah and if picks can be revised then there is no excuse.

Missing the deadline causes lots of hard feelings in office pools.

Can the edit function be disabled for this forum?   You don't want some scumbag editing his pick after the first touchdown.

With the cash prizes things are different this year.

When we first make a post the time is logged in, but isn't there a way to see when/if posts are edited?
If not, then disabling the edit feature is a good idea.
Your idea of just making a new post before the deadline and the latest post being the one that counts, makes sense. I want to make picks now, but there is too much time for injuries to happen and the status of key players in some of the games is not yet known

Once its in print it should be final , no changes at all.
Furthermore, if you forget to put in a boner score, you get no chance to add it later so get it right the first and only time

You can make changes up till a few hours before game time.

If you can't edit your post then PM me and I'll do it for you.

If you leave it too late and/or I ain't here to do the edits then you lose out.

But shit happens and if the QB goes down the day before and you want to change your pic then that's fine.
