OK Boys and Girls
This week I am including the last two teams that we haven't had so far this season. I am limiting the standings to the players who have been putting in their picks consistently. All others who won't be listed are more then welcome to come back and make picks and are still eligible to win the overall just not the last place trophy. That includes anyone that wants to join in are more then welcome to.
And without further adieu here are this week's games:
Week # 6
Game # 1
St. Louis Rams (0-4) at Washington Redskins (4-1)
Redskins by 6
Take heart poor old Ram fans as long as the Motor City kitties are in the league you will not be the worst team. The Rams are traveling to play against the surprise team of the NFL this year. The Rams are not even playing their run up and down offense anymore and will have a major off season overhaul. The Skins are just simply too good and will romp. Any fantasy players need to pick up Clinton Portis as the Rams have absolutely no run defense.
My pick is the skins
Game # 2
Oakland Raiders (1-3) at New Orleans Saints (2-3)
Saints by 7
The Raiders are coming off a bye week after which their egomaniacal owner has just unceremoniously dismissed their coach and you know what.......they're still going to SUCK!!!!!!!!! They are headed to the crescent city after the Saints got Gramatticaed and blew the Vikings despite REGGIE REGGIE REGGIE Kardashian's heroics. By the way my "fantasy" team thanks you!!! The Saints should be better prepared this week and can't afford to fall 2 games below .500
The "Aints in a walk
Game # 3
Chicago Bears (3-2) at Atlanta Falcons (3-2)
Bears by 2 ½
The Bears had a nice "Scrimmage" last week by beating up the D Town pussycats so they should be well rested going in to Hotlanta. Kyle Orton doesn't do much but win and his rookie running back Matt Forte is piling up some big numbers not to mention that they have finally decided to use Devin Hester as a wideout. Their defense will be tested by the surprisingly good Matt Ryan and the rejuvenated Michael Turner. I think the complacency created by their relatively easy game last weekend will be the downfall of Da Bears.
The Dirty Birds in an upset
Game # 4
Carolina Panthers (4-1) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2)
Buccaneers by 2 ½
Chuckie's boys are looking pretty good so far and their defense held the high scoring Broncs in check last weekend and now go up against another hot QB in Jake Delhomme. Their starting QB from the football QB factory known as MEEEEEEEEEEEEECHIGAN, Brian Griese went down in a heap last weekend and will likely need a good performance from Jeff (YES HE IS ) Garcia to overcome the Panther high scoring machine. I think the roaddogs will prevail.
My pick is Carolina's best
Game # 5
Green Bay Packers (2-3) at Seattle Seahawks (1-3)
Packers by 2 ½
The Pack enters Seattle against the last coach to win the cheeseheads a Super Bowl who now has a team that is a pathetic shell of what it was when it went to the Super Bowl a few years ago. The team has no running game and very little passing and is on its way to a last place finish in their division this year. Goes to show what happens when your sister in law is a pitiful right wing schill on a left wing program like the View. Whoopie says the Pack will prevail and so do I
The Cheeseheads and it won't be close
MONDAY NIGHT BONERUS!!!!!
New York Giants (4-0) at Cleveland Browns (1-3)
Giants by 7 ½
I know the schedule makers thought after last year that this would be a great match up of the defending champs against the up and cumming Browneyes from the mistake by the lake. Derek Anderson is still going to be starting mainly because statistics prove the Notre Dame does not produce good QBs since Montana departed the League but he better get Braylon to quit playing like his alma mater currently is. The Gints on the other hand are clicking on all cylinders behind the real MANning of the family. I mean who needs overrated plaxico from the little sister school when you can drop 44 without him. The browneyes cumming off their first W will play the Giants tough but in the long run the defense should prevail for the visitors.
My Pick is the Gints 32-25
To Summarize my picks are:
Redskins
Saints
Falcons
Panthers
Packers
Giants 32-25
