Week # 7
Game# 1
San Diego Chargers (3-3) at Buffalo Bills (4-1)
Pick-em
The Chargers manhandled the Bradyless Pats last weekend and Phil Rivers is playing top notch......at home...he still has his struggles on the road and Buffalo is not a friendly place to play. The Bills should have Trent Edwards back after getting his bell 2 weeks ago. The Bills running game has been above average and without Shawn Merriman in the middle the Bolts have been vulnerable against the run. I think the Bills good season will continue in a tight one.
My pick is the BillyBoys
Game # 2
Baltimore Ravens (2-3) at Miami Dolphins (2-3)
Dolphins by 3
The Dolphins have looked above average so far and my disdain for Bill Parcells may have been slightly misguided although he is still an asshole. Even in defeat they looked tough in Houston last Sunday and Ronnie Brown is finding out why Jake (MEEEEEEECHIGAN) Long was the # 1 draft choice. The (Quoth the) Ravens got literally spanked by a fired up Manning led Colt team last weekend and will be looking to recover these Sunday. But I like this new look Fins team and I think they will continue to surprise. It will be interesting to see if Jake can handle Ray Lewis this week.
My pick is the Fins
Game # 3
New Orleans Saints ( 4-2) at Carolina Panthers (4-2)
Panthers by 3
This should be a good good game!!!!! The Saints and the Panthers should march up and down the field this entire game....that being said it will probably be 3-0 at the end of 3 quarters. Reggie is playing to his college level and how can you not admire Drew Brees doing what he is doing without his top receivers. Jake Delhomme had a good game last week and should against the below average Saints defensive backfield. The panthers should get the better of this one.
My pick is the Big Black Cats
Game # 4
Indianapolis Colts (3-2) at Green Bay Packers (3-3)
Colts by 1
The Colts got back on track at home last Sunday spanking the Ravens and the Manning/Harrison connection put two more TDs towards their combo record. Still no running game but their run defense stepped up. Of course Ryan Grant on the Cheeseheads is a bit better then Willis Magahee. Aaron Rogers got a 1 week reprieve from the fans by going out to Seattle and putting it to the Seacocks. Look to the winner of the 1997 Heisman to put it to the runner-up.
My pick is the cheeseheads
Game # 5
New York Jets (3-2) at Oakland Raiders (1-4)
Jets by 3
The NY Bretts have been as advertised and Mangenius has even gone so far as to name his new child Brett!!!! Can the love affair continue??? The Bretts played well at home but have struggled on the road. The Raiders have looked pathetic everywhere but as long as the Lions are around they will never be the worst in the league. I can't understand why this spread is this low and I feel the bretts will more then cover.
My pick is the Jets
Monday Night Bonerus
Denver Broncos (4-2) at New England Patriots (3-2)
Patriots by 3
So much for Brady being a "System QB" . If that is truly the case then Cassell should be leading the league in everything. Which their opposing QB Jay Cutler is doing right now. The Pats excel on Monday nights and Billecheck is still the best there is and he will be prepared. Hold down the Broncs running game and the Pats should prevail.
My pick is the Pats 24-21
