Okay
Last week we added another bonerus game and PiggDoggs Boyfriend??? Lefty pulled a coup and moved from a 6th place tie into first by snagging all 7 bonerus points!!!!! We will give everyone else another opportunity with 3 more 2 point bonerus games that I will provide as the second half of the season moves on. Congrats to the Left minded one!!!
Week # 9
Game # 1
Houston Texans (3-4) at Minnesota Vikings (3-4)
Vikings by 4 ½
The Texans played great the past two weeks at home and Matt Shaub-Andre Johnson-Steve Slaton are proving to a great combination but how will they play on the road? The Vikes have a credible defense but their inadequacies at QB are hurting the team. Look for an Adrian Peterson sighting this weekend
My pick is Minnemotherfuckingsota
Game # 2
Baltimore Ravens (4-3) at Cleveland Browns (3-4)
Browns by 1 ½
The Ravens started 2-0 and have dropped 3 of 5 since but clobbered an overmatched Raider team last weekend whereas the mistake by the lake browneyes have won 3 of 5 since starting 0-2. Derek Anderson is keeping Brady of the puking irish on the pine by playing to the level he did last year and despite the whinings of overrated Kellen Jr. the Browns are back in the playoff hunt. The Lake Erie winds (and smells) will provide the edge to Cleveland
My pick is the browneyes
Game # 3
Arizona Cardinals (4-3) at St. Louis Rams (2-5)
Cardinals by 3
The Rams have played top notch ball the last 3 games winning two and pushing the Pats to the limit last week but now the new fastest show on turf with the old grocery bagger visit his old stomping grounds from his MVP days. He has all the weapons with Boldin, Fitzgerald, and a fast emerging Steve Breaston. Steve Jackson is playing to his potential finally and Marc Bulger has discovered some new receivers beyond Torry Holt and the offense is clicking. This will be a shootout but I think the Cards have too many weapons
My pick is the Cards
Game# 4
Miami Dolphins (3-4) at Denver Broncos (4-3)
Broncos by 3
The Fins are surprising the league with their play this year. Could it be attributed to Parcells??? Who knows but they are resurging. The Broncs have lost 2 in a row after starting 4-1 but should be stronger after a well needed week off. Look for the Colorado ponies to rebound.
My pick is the Broncs
Game # 5
Atlanta Falcons (4-3) at Oakland Raiders (2-5)
Falcons by 3
Michael Who?? Matt Ryan has surprised many by steeping up and becoming just what this organization needed by utilizing their sparse talent to the best of his abilities!!!! Meanwhile the Raiders are still waiting for JeMarcus Russell to play to his potential that he displayed in college. Their number one choice this year Darren McFadden has showed promise but has been playing hurt and likely will sit out again this week. The Raiders ill play tough but I think the Falcons could be for real.
My pick is the Dirty Birds
Monday Night Bonerus
Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2) at Washington Redskins (6-2)
Redskins by 2
The Steel crew dropped a heart breaker to the defending Super Bowl Champs last Sunday where the way their defense played they deserved better but Big Ben was way off his game and it hurt the team overall. The Skins behind the relatively unknown had a nice scrimmage against the motor city kitties on Sunday and will be tested more this week by a €œreal€ defense.
My pick is the Skins 24-21
To Summarize my picks are:
Vikings
Browns
Cardinals
Broncos
Falcons
Redskins 24-21
Have at it boys and girls
