Ireland 's worst air disaster occurred early this morning when a small two-seater Cessna plane crashed into a cemetery. Irish search and rescue workers have recovered 1826 bodies so far and expect that number to climb as digging continues into the night

Work continues on the tunnel under the Irish Sea despite the fact that the two teams failed to meet in the middle as planned.

The builders say they are going to use one of the tunnels to take earth dug out of the other one.
