  • Your favourite CHRISTMAS Movie is...

It'll soon be time to start being nice to each other again...

But for me it's at this special time of year where I lock myself in the house and turn off the phone - HUMBUG!

I don't like eggnog and I hate that annoying tosser Jimmy Stewart and if I never go to fucking Kansas it'll be a day too soon!

But I do like to sit at home and watch some good old Christmas movies of which my personal favourite is the Muppets version of A Christmas Carol...

    What's your favourite Christmas movie?

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is #1 for me.
    Home Alone would be #2

I'm really not a big fan of Christmas one way or the other. It's not the birth of Christ. The bible does not even instruct Christians to celebrate the birth of Christ anyway.

The pagans converted a pagan holiday into a Christian holiday. Can't get pagans to become Christians if ya don't throw in a few holidays.

It has morphed over the years into nothing but an overcommercialized hype job.

It's just a time for most people to overspend and overeat, IMO.

Home Alone series. Fun, light-hearted and cheesy movie after a hearty meal... and reminds us how life ALWAYS fucks us up but 2 crooks and several 'ouch' booby-traps is key to a happy holiday~

Besides, it's the only way to see Macaulay Culkin as a young adorable kid again~ He looks crazy these days, NOT CUTE!
        Now a SUPER sister!

Christmas for me means nothing for me if i am not at home with the family, it is one day every year where we sit chat, have a laugh and a drink, and i think that is important,

i really don't care what movies are on the telly cause most of christmas day the telly is of and instead we play a board game or a game of cards, and just chill out for one day.

I forgot to pick a film, and that has to be "white Christmas", i always loved to hear Bing Crosby sing.
            i love t-girls

Yep, I've become very Bahhumbug about Christmas,
When I was a kid it was presents and midnight mass, in my twenties it was trying to put together Fisher Price dolls houses and Barbies Horse trailers when I was clearly too pissed to read instructions.
Then I emigrated to Australia, they have a much less over the top attitude to the festered season. They go fucking bonkers about Anzac Day, believing that the Aussie character was somehow forged by being slaughtered in battle, shit did I actually dare write that? I'll be flame vilified  and fucked when the Ausies read that
Now thankfully all that is behind me, I shall be celebrating Christmas this year by boarding TG 918 (it actually might not be that number) at 00.30 25th December, destination BKK, well OK the wife is tagging along, but it is her birthday and she's a good scout, who unwittingly will give me a little free time for fun.
BTW a vote for National lampoon Christmas.
When I were a lad we had the one thing that money can't buy...poverty

i really like Tim Allen' Santa Clause, but with Sean, Xmas to me is now more about work and making money than the birth of christ.

Have you been listening to Paul Keating .

Like Seanbeag7 Xmas for me involves spending time with the family.

Movies about a white christmas and snow mean nothing when it's 40 degrees C and stinking hot outside. Xmas is more about the beach for me.

                    Bad Santa was funny.
I don't get it, is this a magic show?

                      National Lampoons Xmas.

                      Chevy Chase is/was too funny.
