Do YOU take drugs?

We all have a drug story... or two... or more...

I experimented back in the late 70s when I was in the military and stopped after a short while. In the mid nineties I had one spliff just for laughs and reacted badly.

Haven't touched anything illegal since.

I don't like illegal drugs and I really don't get on well with drug users either.

When I worked in the USA as a waiter pretty much everyone was smoking dope. Some were obviously on more powerful means of 'escape.' It didn't bother me to see them all get high but I was regarded as an 'outsider' because I never joined in. They were mostly kids working through school but there were an awful lot of people my age who simply got through life on a permanent semi-high!

This probably won't get a lot of replies but I'd be interested in the vote count.

never have and never will - beer and tobacco are my only vices - drugs are out for me. I get in enough trouble with the legal ones I take......

I smoke weed
I have a professional job and I'm going to grad school. If I were high all the time none of those things would be possible. I get stoned at night before bed, it helps me sleep without Ambien.
I have a prescription for medical marijuana. The dispensaries are the coolest things ever. They are almost always staffed by really cute girls in their twenties and they have every kind of weed you could ever imagine. Dude, herb and hot babes
I know a lot of professional, successful people who smoke weed.

When I was in high school I saw what effect drugs and alcohol had on my friends and classmates. Decided it was not for me and still don't do either today.

Though in my previous work I would deal with some exotic chemicals.
One of the quickest to get high on is Napthalene - a couple of deep breaths and you will be completely blotto!
The hangover comes after about 5 minutes - think of a realy bad alcohol hangover - then double it!

unfortunately...everyhting...i have/was smoking marijuana (bongs)for about 8 years, i later was shooting heroin in the late nineties for eight months.. i was later doing ecstacy and speed daily...sometimes 10pills in an evening...tripple dropping...........arghhh it was ugly..2 years.......then it became alcohol..just beer..mmmm i love beer....but it was a minimum of sixpack usely more every day for nearly 3/4 years....and then Crack got a hold of me as i was living in a nasty crack neighbourhood and this shit nearly killed me..my heart still hurts...smoked that shit like a crazy fuck...if you snort a bit of cocaine after that shit it is like nothing...well this stuff spat me back out at the bottom of ladder of life...i had a house a job and was engaged ...and well been drug free now for 3 years..alchol kind of free for 12months.. and in the last 3 years i have married and had a kid...My wife is a muslim...indonesian...
the only addiction left is the ladyboys...she has threatened to divorce if i dont give them up...she keeps uncovering more and more evidence......
as for drugs...well i am in a place were there not around....if someone came into my room and offered me crack i would smoke it right there...marjijuana i never want to touvh again...alchol i battle and i sure i will drink again...heroin i have moved on..ecstacy i would take it if i was out and it was there...
if you seem you would never guess...you would think inever touch a thing...i must admit my heart is worry now

i do the weed stogie,but not a heavy user and never have or will use in LOS except mayby share a puff with my reg GG in pty occasionally as she likes the stuff,but general rule dont entertain it in thailand.................LOVE IS THE ONLY DRUG I NEED ............KNOW WHAT I MEAN?

Had the odd puff in high school, but when I joined the military that put paid to most of my "enjoyable smokes", I now work for an employer who has random and frequent D&A (drug and alcohol)tests so I,m a pretty boring person these days when it comes to the fun juice..(except when I am on holidays...woooohooo...)

Tried a spliff once, about 20 years ago! I detest drugs, had a friend who died from overdose. Even in LOS , if i think one of my "guests" is on something, she's out the door! I do like my cigs and beer though!
