While its progressive that a black man is voted president , and that the worst president in living memory has been replaced , the honeymoon period will be over very quickly , he has inherited an economy in a complete mess , a country fighting ill conceived wars around the world , and lets say it , a country still hated by many in the world .

Can he turn that around ?
Its one hell of a task , and I sincerely hope he can , but it is gonna take radical changes .

Well Stated jimslim........although I think the "honeymoon" will be extremely shortlived..........there are far too many issues to jump in to too soon for the honeymoon to last very long.

Of course this will require him resisting the temptations of joining his muslim AlQueda allies and of course he will also have to resist the overwhelming urges to immediately invoke his socialist ideals on the unassuming american public!!!!

There is no definition for Socialism but I would add,

IMHO, It may not have mattered who was elected. They have their work cut out for them. If they succeed in bring this country out of this recession, they're a godsend. If not they're the proverbial goat.

Although I like the fact that the alcoholic dufus currently in the Oval Office will be out come mid-January, along with his one-foot-in-the-grave/cardiac kid VP, I'm worried that some other moron out there will try to assassinate him (Obama). And if someone does succeed in assassinating him, I'm headed to Canada. Cause I ain't gonna hang around for the chaos that will ensue from that.
