My brother just came over and traded me a RCI 6300F 150  for a Conex General Lee radio.

I now have two RCI Ranger 6300's.  They are different.
The one my brother tarded me has a built in 150watt amp.  Its the 6300F 150

Here is a fun Radio if you know how to Peak & Tune old 23 Channel radios.    This was a weak radio .  it is a 1975 radio.   I'm running 100 watt finals in it.   I have taken the screws to this radio so many times.  
I Love this radio because I can do anything to it.   I have spent many hours soldering, wiring .  I have so many times run this radio with the cover off and peaking it as I talked.

I think I could understand the interest in this before the internet. Seems kind of nostalgic to me now. The only person I know who is into Ham radio's is an uncle who was in WWII.

i grew up on this stuff but I hear your point, I do still have a Nostalgic reason for hanging on.

I Love Old radios. especially the old Tube Type radios before there was such a thing as an Intergrated Circut.
