Chalky pastels potraits

Bedridden, in a deep slumber,
coma so it seemed.
Deeply aware,
the breath that caressed;
lifeless and yet
growing so it seemed.
Reach not
beyond physical boundaries,
the helplessness.
Despair masked;
smiles moist,
salty yet the facade sugar.

PEOPLE WHO AREN'T AFRAID TO GET DIRTY

He came out clean,
smelling like a french woman.
But he wants to play in the mud!
In yellow patent heels!
See, hogs can do fashion too.


FOUR LEGS GOOD, TWO LEGS BAD


The supermarket was bustling
with sheep doing groceries
as usual.

Suddenly there were screaming
and sheep running in sheer terror,
some still holding on to their shopping carts.

A tiger had broke through the gates
and was hunting the sheep
down the aisles.

Mrs Jacobs realised the cart had been
more than a hindrance, and
tried to make it for the exit.

She never made it past redemption.

STYLISED BEAR RITUAL

It was a shocking sight. The two turtles were out;
green blobs of gelatin, their hollow shells not far
away. It was obvious the one gnawing away
hungrily deshelled its own kind. But we're not
quite sure how it had done so. The meal was nice
but a weebit too heavy and the predator, visibly
bloated, was snoring away, far too lazy to move.

The boy couldn't find his camera anywhere!
He was certain he'd seen it earlier on. He had
returned from the vault one floor up, not the
baths that were just round the corner.

"They do not have toilet facilities at all." a boy
at the vault corrected him, "This is the vault."

It was his turn at Judo class. He braced himself
as he went close to the Master, then WHAM!
He was down on the mat. Well,it wasn't as painful
as he had thought, but he dreaded Judo class
nonetheless. He recalled the turtles outside and
rummaged through his bag for his camera. The
camera was nowhere to be found and he rushed
out, only to find the green blob now flipped inside
out.

One could easily make out the face, wheezing away,
if not, the unmistakable contented grin a huge
give-away. The phone rang and the boy went back
in to take the call. It was the lady from the pizza
company. He read out her number: 9-5-8-3-7-1-1-7.
She corrected him several times before he finally got
it right.

"Stupid glittery crap!" he thought, as he tried to
make out the numbers on the black wall.

He ran out again the minute she hung up. It had fallen
off the parapet onto the floor. The decapitated green
carcass and the hollow shells sat quietly. It was over.

Great! I really like the woman in #3 and the guy in #2.

This is a Nice Painting.    I like this one best because of its depth without being so busy.

  Simplicity without pesumptiousness.

Great Lighting sister,   very well done.   I really like the color  yellow,,, I really appreciate the graduation of yellow coming from the " White " sun to yellow.

IT takes talent to do that.

Oh no, that's just becos I hung it up in my hall and had spotlights on it! It's a flat yellow really...I succumbed to pop art and decided to do that piece. Hated it. So not me~
