  • What watch? It's time to tell!

What kind of watch do you wear?
Do you have more than one?

Kui bought me a Casio for my birthday 6 years ago and it's the only one I've worn since then.

It doesn't stop me window-shopping for another one, but I haven't seen one that catches my eye, at least, not yet!

Do you have a watch story? It's time to tell it!

I bought 6 Swiss Watches off E-bay last year for £10 and gave 4 away.

I normally buy a watch in when I'm there for 120 baht and it lasts 6 weeks before I need to buy another battery for it here in the for another 500 baht

I had to laugh after my last trip when a punter asked me why I didnt buy another 4 watches from to save on the price of a battery

I have many but all...most all...are cheap watches...Everyday are like Casio, Seiko, etc...

But I have some older ones as well...a great Hamilton electric from the 1960's...and
several old pocket watches with fobs, the prize of which is an Elgin solid gold from the 1890's...

            And I'm still always late...

Another fucking clock (and cock) watcher.

Years ago, I lost my watch and a very hot girl returned it to me.  She complimented its design, said several other girls thought it was good, and said she'd noticed it when I was wearing it, so that's how she knew it was mine.  Sadly, I lose my watch every 4 years or so, and not once were any of them returned to me by any hotties.  However, I keep buying the same design every time, at least I think it's the same design.  I'm not saying what kind it is.   I don't want to jinx myself.

                  POL
Retired the top 12.  Need a new dirty dozen.

Update: The new list is coming together: Nong Poy, Anita, Nok, Gif, Liisa Winkler, Kay, Nina Poon.  Is it possible to find 5 more?  Until then, GGs:  Jessica Alba, Yuko Ogura, Zhang Ziyi, Maggie Q, and Gong Li.

Abroad I wear a TAG which was purchased around 15 years ago at duty free in Singapore. While meandering around the UK my chosen time piece recently is an  IWC Schaffhausen which I took off a guy as payment on bet concerning the Manchester United & Chelsea, Champions League result
He has a year to win it back off me before I sell it.

That one is pure class, kl. Great watch.

I´m watch freak, i have a few vintage Omegas too, one from my grandad and my dad.

Omega makes the best watches, imo. I have a Seamaster, Speedmaster (Moon watch) and a Planet Ocean.

Like kahuna i have an Elgin and a Hamilton, never use them though. Longiness and Wittnauer too. I don´t like those goldwatches.

pentire, that IWC is a great beuatiful timepiece, let me know when that year is up
Your clientele should be wearing Panerai´s , let me know if one of those are for sale..

Now i wear a Tag Heuer Monaco, classic remake of the 1960´s chrongraph.
Steve Mc Queen wore a Tag Heuer Monza is Le Mans.
                      Not so nice, imo.

My mobile phone is my watch. I don't like jewelry.

I wear a piece of string around my wrist. It reminds me that simplicity makes me happy.

I really don't like wearing watches  -  nor do I like wearing shoes  -  unfortunately they are both necessary evils in this day and age.

I've got an Omega Seamaster which I hardly ever wear.   It's a beautiful piece of engineering though.

Most of the time I wear a cheap Casio with hands and an additional digital display.
That way I can keep the hands on local time and the digital display on GMT.
