Well it seems from the news, talk in the papers, on the boards and on other polls that Obama wins.The question is how much of the popular vote will he get?

You've got huge margins here. There's no way he can reasonably get more than 10% of the popular vote more than McCain, and I'd wager it'll be less than 5% even.I'm a rough-ridin', hootin' and hollerin', ladyboy lovin' cowboy! Bang bang yer dead!!! -

What are you counting ?, Popular vote or Electoral votes ?
My guess is Obama will end up with around 310-320 Electoral votes (270 needed to win)

However, everyone in the USA and worldwide is talking about Obama winning and that "old guy" aint gonna win they say. Seems as if he will crush McCain on the US and World Wide stage.
Who knows tho, perhaps more states go red than blue

I just hope whoever wins gets a large majority so they can claim a mandate, seeing as they are both running on a policy of "change". The last two elections have really split America and I think has had a knock on effect on the world stage. Hopefully the polarisation of politics can be put on hold for a while so both sides can listen to each other rather than looking for the next opertunity to score cheap political points.
But then I wish that for the UK as well and lets face it, it ain't going to happen.Beer BaronComment
