  • Free Air Miles

Ok guys i have 100,000 air miles with Asian air miles....These can be used on British Airways, Cathay Pacific etc. I think it is the One world alliance set up.

    Website: http://www.asiamiles.com/am/en/redeem/flightawardfinder

    Example...

    London/Heathrow Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi British Airways #
    Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi London/Heathrow British Airways #
    Asia Miles Required 60,000

If any BM wants them they can have them...will give you a password and user name to access asian air miles to use them as you wish.
One Condition...(ah the sting in the tail)...

A pledge to give a donation to charity, the best pledge gets em.
    or
A VIP membership to Asian TS (99.95 US) which i can give as a present to a guy who cannot afford it himself..not me by the way

You can transfer your Asia Miles to the account of a redemption group member at any time so your family and friends can redeem them for a range of exciting rewards with your transferred miles.

          Here's how it works

To transfer miles, the minimum block transfer is 10,000 miles at a service fee of USD120, and further blocks of 5,000 miles can be transferred at a service fee of USD60 per block.

          Transfer Your Miles now!

          Terms and conditions

          1. Only the principal member can request mileage transfer.
          2. Member must pay applicable service fees either by VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Diners Card.
          3. Service fees for transfer of Asia Miles are non-refundable.
          4. Other Asia Miles terms and conditions apply.

so to transfer 100000 miles will cost $1200? Or can you just use the OP's account and book the ticket from there as a gift purchase?
seriously pig headed, arrogant, double standard smart ass poster!

so in that case KL it is cheaper to buy the ticket...what a rip.

Sorry guys it does not look very viable if you have to pay to use them.

I have never used air miles and honestly never knew...but a damn shame. Thought they would be of use to a BM

It's easy to win the best pledge auction.   Anyone can pledge a 2000 USD donation to the home For Wayward Ladyboys.  But, it's another thing for someone to actually follow through on his pledge and fork over hard cash.

Thpon, you seem like one of the good guys,
jai dee mak mak sponsoring paties at EZY and raising money for charity.

But my two cents says the keep those extremely valuable miles for yourself.  At a penny a mile they're worth 1000 USD.  You can give your derserving friend a 99 buck membership if you want and have your next 2 flights to Thailand for free.

PD, Thanks for your comments, i appreciate it.

But honestly i will never use them. I live in Thailand and work in Libya (do a month on, month off) so i actually put about 30,000  on average into my BA air miles every month.

Of course the company pays for first or club class and should i wish to go back to see the family in the UK then i just go straight to uk and fly to thailand a few days later or go back early from bangkok...

There is really nowhere in asia i want to go, so what would i do with them. They will run out eventually and screw iasia air miles i would rather someone benefit from them.

The membership, well i thought about that and yes it would be easy to buy one, but i do not want my buddy to think i spent money on him he would'nt like it, if you can understand that train of thought.

As for the party well i have a couple of virgins to los coming out and wanted to make it a little special, not really that expensive is it.

And i certainly will enjoy it even if it is only Karl myself and the girls but i hope the BM's can enjoy it as well. That would make it special

If you are in EZY on party night come over and we will have a beer.

thpon, very generous offer on your part - if you really want to give away the miles, there is another way. You can designate your miles for a free ticket for someone. If someone meets your stipulations (and can prove it), you can have a free ticket issued in their name (except for taxes - which I am sure the beneficiary would be willing to pay).

I have used my Star Alliance points to get a free ticket for one of my friends.

                      Kudos for your idea!

                              rxpharm,

Just to give you an idea of what was going on without too much detail....
The Air miles went for an ATS membership for a buddy of mine.

This guy (farang) has really for the last year had a tough time and had a serious accident up country. His right leg was crushed in a vehicle accident.

His is watching the pennies (cannot work) and is a LB lover so the trips to pattaya and BK have abruptly stopped.

I know he wanted to join AtS but if i bought it for him as a xmas prezzie he would probably refuse and still be miserable.

Anyway he has it now and if he ever reads this, enjoy Taffy and smile you b**tard you been ATS'ed.

But i would like to thank you guys for the support and generous offers which were sent.

                              Thanks one and all
