Popular phone brands in LOS - what does yours use?
THE Status symbol for a bargirl is an iPhone, one even laughed at me because I have an iPod Touch and not a full iPhone (I don't want an iPhone, but thats another story).
Otherwise its Nokia, I can't think of any having a Samsung or Sony-Erickson.
Mostly american likes Motorola.
Personally i think they are crap. I prefer Sony E.
I´ve seen a few Sony Ericssons with lbs, dp, but majority for sure with Nokias.
"I can see it in the eyes.....they get hollow and soulless a year or 2 after the Op .... I coined the term ''shark eyes'' to describe that look"

Agree Motorola are rubbish compared to Nokia. Watch out for the Android the best mobile OS around and when the handsets catch up the iPhone will be running scared.
Yup, I have my G1 on order from T-mobile already. Not sure when the rest of the world will get it but I think Germany is next given T-mobile's parent company affiliation. Hopefully the other phone makers will rush out their Android powered devices soon. I think the next will be Samsung and LG in Q2/Q3 of next year, followed very closely with Motorola. Its a shame Nokia will never touch Android and I think SE will probably still be mostly Symbian with its toes dipping towards WinMo.
I'm a rough-ridin', hootin' and hollerin', ladyboy lovin' cowboy! Bang bang yer dead!!!
I'd love to see a Sony-Ericsson Android phone, and there is some buzz, but I don't think it will happen.
We should see Samsung and LG models in 3Q 2009.
Sony Ericsson had enough trouble getting the X1 out, and it's a Windows Mobile device. Eh, they got too hung up on the whole panel idea. The thing is too damn late and too expensive I predict its going to be a massive failure. What they need to do is try to start making better smartphones ala Blackberry and make some good touch-screens that are more mid-market priced.

That's the advantage of Android over Windows Crap-E
With Android you have the source and a mindset of 'here are some tools make what you want'
With Windows you don't have all the source (and what you do get is often useless since its not fully documented), you are also trapped into the M$ Mindset of 'do it our way' which requires a developer to go thru hoops to get it to work and look different than generic windows.
