I voted for Italy (as did a few others), but I don't thinks its as much a matter of leaving as being pushed

We denied the euro few years ago, though we´re in the EU. I still don´t know wether that was good or bad.

Like RR said, the bigger nations will never leave the gravy train, EU is all too fuckin corrupted.

The leaders want centralisation and thus the Euro is here to stay. They want more countries to join.
The more countries the more control.

I believe the whole banking fiasco has been allowed to happen so there can be a consoldation of power with the banks and what they control.

The US dollar will eventually collapse so that will pave the way for the Amero and the North American Union which will join Mexico, the US and Canada together. (all those illegal immigrants won't be illegal and millions more will pile over when the border has gone).

When the Irish voted against the EU constitution thing last year, it was just a set back for the EU, they will just amend it a little bit and eventually get it in.

I used to be a staunch supporter of the EU, but I smelt the salt and realised like all governments it isn't there to benefit people, but to benefit business interests and to control the way people live.

you cant honestly think that England can continue to prop up the pound forever

How can a country with no domestic product have such a strong currency ? (the slave trade days are well and truly over ) They will have no choice other then to accept inevitable

If italy are out in that time ,then I will run down Sukumvit naked

There is no chance that Britain will join the Euro - the only Brits in support of the Euro are those on the Brussels gravy train.
