I find it interesting both of them are left handed, at least writing, which is the first indicator of determining one's dominant hand“When a nation's young men are conservative, its funeral bell is already rung.”

A lot of McCain's comments were just the same old talking points that he repeats ad naseum at every venue and opportunity.
He seems to me to be stiff in his movements and somewhat labored when he speaks.
There was already absolutely no doubt who I will vote for, though I wish Barak would have been more specific on some of his comments. I don't really believe, however, that either of them are sure how they will fix the economy.“When a nation's young men are conservative, its funeral bell is already rung.”

I'm disappointed by McCain-Palin. I don't think that together they're bright enough to light a dark room even a little dim. I used to think more highly of him.
POLRetired the top 12. Need a new dirty dozen.
Update: The new list is coming together: Nong Poy, Anita, Nok, Gif, Liisa Winkler, Kay, Nina Poon. Is it possible to find 5 more? Until then, GGs: Jessica Alba, Yuko Ogura, Zhang Ziyi, Maggie Q, and Gong Li.

"That One" ??
Pathetic
Every news show except Faux News had Obama crusshing him nad naturally FauxNews had McPalinSame at 87-13.
Another valuable point that was discussed on CNN was Obama hung around, took pics, and signed autographs for about 30 minutes and McPalinSame ducked out the back door.
If Obama doesn't win this there will be more contreversy then 2000. He has a 5-8 point lead in any poll you look at (this of course is ignoring Faux newses biased reporting)....he has over 300 electoral votes on almost every electoral site and the McPalinSame campaign is resorting to more mud then the swift boat politics of Karl Rove® When McPalinSame stated that he would rather lose then play that card.
McPalinSame never mentioned his favorite girl, last night, avoided questions, forgot the names of the people he was talking to and talked down to them.

I'd like to ask the americans of this forum , what percentage of the vote do you think will be based on race ? i.e black v white .
I know that from working in NY , i did see a lot of racism and that was from people who call them sevles liberal . I wonder come vote day that "white america" will say privately , "fuck ! im not voting for a some black guy "
in saying that i hope Obama gets the gig as you need him .
thoughts ?

Geo, I don't think it will amount to much...in the 10-15% range and very much specific to certain parts of the country. As far as needing Obama...I would question that. For sure, McCain had his prime back in the early 90's and he is definitely stuck in that period. Obama has become the default choice and you can see that by the lukewarm response in the polling. Despite McCain's showing in the debates, people are not jumping on the Obama band wagon. The US needs an economic solution that avoids the peaks of the 90's because that is the real cause of what is happening in the economy today. The flatter the curve the better....so the real solution is to establish a firm foundation and grow steadily...then people will not feel uncertain about the future...open their wallets and spend...and that spending will drive the recovery.

It's hard to say. Most whites who'd never vote for a black person would probably never vote for a Democrat, either. Blacks who are enthused by Obama may turn out in much greater numbers than ever before. Although they mostly vote for Democrats and their proportion of the population is smaller (about 10%), it's possible that they could offset the race factor on the other side. However, the bulk of the votes will come from people not predisposed either way, but for whom the parties do need to worry about turnout.

Gee I guess the polls are really showing a "lukewarm" response.......GMAMFB
Oh and before you "claim" this is a left wing biased poll I can drum up any number from many different that show either the same results or quite similar. The only one that won't would come from the Faux News Network
open your eyes....the country wants and needs change and if Obama is the "default" candidate he is a pretty damen good in more eyes then not
The anti black vote will more prevelant in the traditionally red states anyway and I don't think it will be enough in the battleground states to be a factor
Another tidbit from last night, a buddy of mine had a drinking game where they took a shot of Tequila every time McPalinSame said "my friends" ............22 shots later they were pretty stoked!!!!!
