Suvarnapoom Airport Taxi Strike

As you probably know, taxis on strike are blocking the access to and from the airport.

Any idea on how to get through?

This is an easy one. Just tell the Ladyboys Union that there will be no more money form frsh farang meat if they cannot get htru. Also tell them the taxi strike will cause Western Union to stop accepting farang-Thai bank account transactions. This should do it..........

Get a private taxi (normal looking car) to pick you up for about 600b expressway tolls included. PM me for contact if you want. I used the same guy for the last 3 trips now - Bruno. He is reliable, speaks good English and not a pushy scam artist.

Normally he will pick me up, wait for me while I check in, then take me where I want to go for the day and when I'm done, I pay him about 100b per hour. This is a good deal because my airport pick up is included in there. My chauffeur for the day!

I just arrived at the airport for my departing flight back to work . No sign of any taxi blockade to or from the airport.

These things are generally short lived as the authorities will not tolerate much that will interfere with the international airport. Even PAD didn't do anything to Survarnabhumi when they had the demonstrations a short while ago.

Don't worry, be happy you will be coming to LOS soon!
