Hopefully you are joking. That type of comment sounds very similar to the serious mindset of some of the country bumpkins around here. Look at the style, not the substance. Politics, things like debates, have become so theatrical. All the rehearsing, having handlers and advisers making sure they know ahead of time what to say, telling them what to say and not say.

(JaiDee @ Oct. 03 2008,08:19) lefty, get real....I obviously don't want her anywhere near washington, I just like the way she looks
again, the hottest 44-year old I have seen in a LONG time, no shit
They key though would be how does she look when you wake up in the morning next to her and you are totally sober.
Of course she looks ok for a 44 yr old GILF, all made up to look good on tv.

She did a good job, because McCain's advisers did a great job of preparing her.
I wonder if they had a tiny mic in her ear, hidden by her hair, so they could coach her as the debate was going along. This was suspected of the Pubs in one of the Bush/Kerry debates in 2004 and I would not put anything past those assholes.
Palin didn't come across as the stumblebum she did when Katie Couric interviewed her, so got up to speed rather quickly.

She did a great job, and I was impressed.
I still think Biden 'won', and I want him and Obama to win.
But Palin really countered my preconceptions.
This was also one of the most civilized and on-topic debates I have seen.
My favorite part was when Biden called Cheney the most dangerous vice president ever and challenged his bizarre notion that he is not part of the executive branch and not subject to freedom of information act and record keeping laws.
Biden was entirely correct in all aspects of that statement.

Even though Biden may have won the debate, I think the debate helped the McCain ticket more than the Obama ticket.
If so, then only because they were in a position to need more help. I thought Biden totally nailed most all of his comments, and won, but not sure they can build a much bigger lead in the polls.
