Hey Rollo the last Bond film was the most successful of them all.
In the Roger Moore days they really did get ridiculous, but Casino Royale went back to reality and delivered the kind of Bond that we were hoping for.I am sure the new one will be a cracker.Let's face it we would all trade places with him if we could.

I enjoyed the last one too.

Many critics didn't like the long poker scene but as a poker player thought it was great to see Bond play a game of skill, poker rather than baccarat, a game of pure luck.

Daniel Craig put his own spin on Bond in Casino Royale ( without all the bullshit gadgets of previous installments ) , and from the promo clips of Quantum of Solace it seems he is as good if not better ,so if QoS is as good as it looks then Daniel Craig has gotta be in the mix as the best Bond , along with Connery .

Yeah the Bourne movies where good (props to Robert Ludlum) , but could of been better tho , getting a good actor instead of Matt Damon (shudder) to play Bourne would of helped .

I love the line in "Trainspotting" where Mark is trying to quit junk and he's ripping on Sick Boy, saying "he's full of shite and he don't know what the hell he's talking about", etc......and Mother Superior says with a completely straight face; "well, he does seem to know an awful lot about Sean Connery".

  with an equally-straight face  Renton says "that's true, but even so....."

         Early Bond was great......I gave up on that whole series when they put that pretty-boy Pierce Brosnan in there
