Do you date while at home?

for you guys who live in the west and only get to Thailand a few times per year, maybe like 2 months or less, do you even bother dating the opposite sex?  like relationships and shit, going to movies and on vacations, girlfriend-boyfriend type crap?

       can't do it myself.....  no girls I am attracted to in my small city {100K} would consider screwing me;  that crowd being the 10% or so who look good, are in their early 20s, have no baggage, stay slim and in shape, smart, etc...... the ones that WOULD date me, 30-40's types with more than a few extra pounds, probably a kid or 3 somewhere, train wreck brain, etc....... what's the point?

        Better to go without and wait for road trips, me thinks..... even with someone who was cute and say 28 or 30 or so who fit the bill, imagine having to meet her friends and parents, and calls and texts every day, sleeping over regularly, etc.....wouldn't that drive you up a tree?  After 14 years of being solo [and loving it] I don't see how I could ever start dating again and sharing my bed at night.

  If girls thought like men, there would be someone around here who was cute, smart, didn't want any attachments, saw the pleasure in watching football in your underwear for 12 hours straight, came over 2 or 3 nights just for sex and left me alone the other 95% of the time....  but alas, they don't exist

I am nearly 50 and never had that feeling. Mostly date smart cute ladies from 38 to 55....
But there are some girls, may from 22 to 32 who prefer from time to time a experienced, arduous, smart, slim, successful and interesting gentlemen ....

You don´t find those but they will find you....

Not sure about your town but around here the girls who are 38-55 {? my Moms friends??} are no one I would want to spend time with.....as I said when I bought my Caddy 3 years ago; THIS is my midlife crisis, and I'd take it over a woman [well, women in Dieter's age group} any day.

We've been together for nearly 20 years and we're not sick of each other yet. Well not all the time

When we swing here in Aus its usually with girls and couples younger than us (late 30's) and sometimes guys older than us..

That said though, we are tending more and more not to bother looking at home and just having extra-marital fun the 2-4 months a year we are travelling...
