Jet Pack loony to attempts France - UK crossing!

Live on Sky and the internet. Swiss daredevil , Rossy,will attempt to fly accross the English Channel on a home made Jet Wing strapped to his back after being launched from Calais

From memory only one guy has ever done this and this was in a hang glider ( safer by far). All the other guys who tried this over the last 10 years are buried in various cemetaries over the south of England

As far as i know.....

Its postponed due to clouds over Dover . I see the test flight and it is an incredible machine.  Hes a cross between Buzz Lightyear and Batman this guy...

Also he cant glide in if the fucker packs up, its south all the way to Davy Jones Locker.

I remember at school we had this insane fucker called the birdman who broke his legs jumping from the roof of the school gym with a pair of home made wings , made by his dad (who was even more insane )
