    "Mee-ow, naaaaa!" < Translation?

When I declined the proposal of an LB, she turned to her friend and yelled "me ow, naaaaaaa".

I know that me ow means, but what does naaaaaaa mean?

the way I understand it, its like a punctuation. Its like Singaporeans saying 'lah' at the end of a sentence.
I know its so wrong, but it feels so right!

Its a slang word a lot of Thais use in every sentence ie -

We go to beach naa ?
We go get food naa ?
You give me 1000 baht for my sick granny/big haired gay boyfriend naa ?

Same as we say yeh or right or something like that .

Pom rak katoey mak mak naa

Jimslim is correct. Literally, na is used to tell about something (as in corfirm) or suggest something. i.e.na is a particle on the end of sentences meant to be persuasive and to invite agreement.

"When you fuck my ass, be gentle na"
"He doesn't want to go with me, na" (mai ow na")

It is informal.  It's kind of like saying "right" or "alright" at the end of a sentence.

thank you too mutt for good good explanation!

That's a good way to learn thai.
One moment I feared it had a pejorative connotation.
