All three, but the original CSI with Grisom etc is way the best of them. On a similar vein NCIS is pretty good, I'd rank it right behind the Original CSI. CSI Miami is the dumbest of the series.

(Road Runner @ Sep. 13 2008,03:53) Initially I liked all three shows. I do still still like Gary Sinise in the NY series as he's a good actor.

What spoils them for me though is that they seem to become more and more divorced from reality.
We now see lab technicians on SWAT teams as expert dog handlers and so on.
I know they have to have some sort of variation but some of the recent plots are bordering on the farcical.

The Vegas CSI I think is the better balanced and more realistic though if they lose Grissom then as far as I see it they have lost the glue that holds the plot together.

            RR.
I totally agree about Gary Sinise, he is a wonderfully talented actor IMO.
Anyone who can do a good job of playing Harry Truman, George Wallace and then Lt Dan, is ok by me

For him alone the NY version should be the one I watch, but for some reason it seems I find myself watching the Miami version by far the most and I can't stand Caruso, or at least his character.

I like looking at the bloke who was in the movie 'Rambo - First Blood' fold his arms and striking poses! I think it's the Miami one that he's in.

Saw it round KLs house a year ago and never watched since. Total fucking garbage.

(Lefty @ Sep. 12 2008,20:20) I find myself watching the Miami version by far the most and I can't stand Caruso, or at least his character.
As NYPD Blue became an instant hit Caruso (Kelly) held out for megabucks and the producers rightly decided they didn't need him and got someone else who is a more versatile actor. Caruso doesn't have much range.

NYPD is my favorite cop show ever with the possible exception of Car 54 Where Are You.

The not very well known Homicide was good too with the talented Jerry Orbach (TV, movies, Broadway, drama, musicals) and Richard Belzer who used to perform at New York comedy clubs in his salad days. Got to see lots of talent way close up in tiny comedy clubs back then including Bill Maher, Joe Piscipo, Gilbert Gotfreid, and Sarah Bernhart.

To all you csi fans, there is a forensic science museum in bangkok, that is worth a look if you were ever that bored (not likely). Other side of the river - songkran niyomsane forensic medicine museum- siriraj hospital.
Lots of different stuff here, even a preserved thai serial killer! Major drawback it's a complete pain in the ass to get to!

As you can imagine this place means shit to the BIB, last heard saying- evidence what evidence! What is eveidence, never heard of it, you pay you are guilty!

Car 54? Wow khun, you're showing your age, but I guess I am if I admit having watched it too.
There's a hold up in the Bronx,
                                Brooklyn's broken out in fights.
There's a traffic jam in Harlem
That's backed up to Jackson Heights.
                                There's a scout troup short a child,
                                Kruschev's due at Idlewild
                                Car 54, Where Are You?

I still know that darned song by heart, even though I ain't seen the show in years. Kind of sad, I know.

Were you more of a Francis Muldoon fan, or did you lean more toward Gunther Toody? I'm guessing Francis.

One can see how old the show is when they refer to JFK Airport by it's previous name in the song.

Seriously though, for my all time favorite cop shows, 1st would have to be Hill Street Blues. For me easily the best cop show ever.

I also like The Shield pretty good, I guess mostly due to my uncanny resemblance to Michael Chiklis.
