There's a war going on out there. Outside Thailand. Out there in the 'real world', where I haven't been to for years, by the way. People are attacking peace and they won't stop till they've destroyed it. And they won't destroy it so there's always a war going on!

Maybe you are one of them... If you see a little peace then you may feel compelled to wage a war against it. I don't blame you - it's the human condition.

Looking over the total recorded history of mankind there is evidence that we are all controlled by desire to destroy each other and ruin a perfectly nice day....

The actual figures for people killed in conflicts is the lowest now than its ever been in recent history...Im sure it will change with the scrabble for what resources are left on the planet , as a rough guess i would say in around 15 years time the shit will hit the fan again

I am sure you have read some of the replies I have given, to other topics similar to this, that you have raised in the past.What you have said is one of the reasons why the Eastern Century is upon us.
Look at Japan, still virtually a closed society,almost impossible to migrate to.When you visit there you are not looked upon as a "white god", you are just about completely ignored.Yet, although their economy seems to just drift along they have built a huge worldwide industrial and technological base where their products are available everywhere.
In the West we are spending more and more on social welfare ( another thing that is not a priority in Asia), security to protect us from the immigrants,failed border policies and the quagmire of endless rules and regulations being put out daily by unrepresentative members of the U.N.,E.U.,Human Rights Courts,World Courts, etc.
Napolean has finally got what he wanted in Europe, one great quagmire of races,religions,cultures all competing with each other for social or religious dominance.This has led to fear amongst the original English,French,Germans,Dutch, etc as they look at the social engineering set in place by the left without any direct mandate to do so.Now the left must defend what they have done by agreeing to look at limiting the rights to free speech, the right to mock religion, of any sort, the right to create artwork or movies that are against their agenda.How pathetic their representatives are looking as they head more towards the Stalinist left than the enlightened left they were supposed to be.
As the Asians make it hard for us to migrate to any of their shores, make it impossible to own land, make it very hard
to do business without a local partner and restrict us in other ways, no wonder they will just pass us by and laugh as we sink into a big sticky mess.
I love being in Thailand for many Months of the year,it's like being liberated.I can drive at 180kph and cop the occasional direct to police fine, even though the speed cam got me.If you want to build, you just build.No neighbours to notify, very few council procedures, just get started.
In Australia you won't get moving for 6 Months.
Thailand, "just do it", in just about anything.

Some of your points have validity, however, "Just do it"? Fine let the "rich"/"connected" fuck YOU over just because they have more money/connections. See what happened in China when all the schools fell down in the earthquake because the "rich" ignored the rules made to benefit EVERYONE, by paying bribes to a select few. I think your getting just a little exited there.Comparing corruption and bribery in China, where lives are lost, has nothing to do with paying off the cops for a speeding fine.It's a Thai necessity for many things, over here.
Also I am talking about building a house ,not a sewer or chemical factory on your doorstep.If you love red tape, just stay where you are.
I may also be well off and I have used my brain to get there, but in no way am I "connected' as you seem to infer.Seems that you have a problem with those of material means.
