Top five events...But Ill cheat a bit as I always do...

            1.  Waking up this morning...One more day to laugh and love and fight and cry...I'm thankful...
Of course waking up this morning next to the cutest little ladyboy did help the smile...

            2.  The day my Dad died...More than any other death that one day of unexpected death has remained in my memory...

            3.  The day my mother died...She was 91 and it was expected...But just the same, she was my Mom...

            4.  The day I discovered and accepted myself and all my faults...

            5.  But above and beyond all others, the day my daughter was born...And all the events in her life that have followed...She is my immortality...

if it wasn't the irish championships then it doesn't count and is irrelevant

(Naang Faa @ Aug. 06 2008,19:45) Coming back to the UK..being terrified and all the lads dressed
in drag so i didn't feel weird first time i went out to the pub...
You must have felt loved that day ....

What a wonderul way for your friends to show their respect. That was a drink you'll never forget.

I remind you again Ms Faa, your life will make a great book that is just waiting to be written.

thanks for all your comments   i work in engineering/manufacturing which is about f**ked in the uk , with most work going to china and india ,so it was not a shock but it still hits you when you get  sacked as this is the only job ive had since leaving school so i suppose i have a fear of the unknown  big wide world out there? but i have always hated the job ,the job made me ill last year with stress and so as katoeylover said the change is for the best,im walking away with some redundancy money, i know i will get another job hopefully not in engineering/manufacturing ?so life goes on and im going to try and be positive

Could be metion lot's of big events but it was really a little one that effected me more than anything.

An episode of the original Star Trek called 'Let That Be Your Last Battlefield'

I was only a kid but it was really my first lesson on how ridiculous racism is and I never forgot it.

Probably in some ways in the long run this let my accept Ladyboys just as people rather than the freaks many people think they are.

Actually Naang, you are one of the more interesting people on the planet.

You can't have forgotten I know a little of your background & your involvement with the ladyboys of LOS at the highest level.

Only my good manners & the need to respect your private life prevents me from saying more.

One day when your commitments are no longer of paramount importance in your life, I urge you to put pen to paper & share what is a remarkable story by any measure.

I would be delighted if I was one of the "loopy loons" you refer to, but as a distant friend, it is enough to watch from the sidelines the circus that is your life.
Despite the high cost of living, it continues to be popular.

                                All star good luck!

                                Five significant events;

                                1. Death of my mother
                                2. first lb experience
                                3. Asian tsunami ,as i was very nearly in phi phi that time
                                4. 9/11 and the resulting aftermath
                                5. The first time i was part of a resus team on a hospital ward. We done everthing possible, bar save the poor womens life, later we found out, because of the cause there was no way we would have saved her, even with the best medical team in the world. After an event like this, even though work related you ask yourself a lot of questions, and start to build an internal defence to help you deal with death. The hardest part at the time, was to go back on the ward as if nothing happened and care for the rest of the patients. This happened as soon as death was pronounced! No time to reflect, gather your thoughts!
i'm going where the sun keeps shining.................
