i was a member of sheanimale for a year and that drawings is part of someone's little dream that was written in about 3 months ago and it takes the artist about 4-5 weeks before it appears on the site.
i think it's a bit , but then again, that's just my opinion.
The cartoon does not bother me...parodies exist of everything in life. However, the assertion that transgendered individuals are dysfunctional does bother me. Stereotyping is discrimination.
We keep discussing the issue because we keep finding it in society. The challenge is how do we get rid of it.
However, the assertion that transgendered individuals are dysfunctional does bother me.
Actually, the Simpsons were said to be dysfunctional long before they were ever parodied.
The whole family being portrayed in this picture just adds a dimension to that alleged dysfunctionality... (if that is even a word!)
In point of fact I have never thought of The Simpsons as being anything like a dysfunctional family. In fact; the stories in each episode (however absurd) always end up with the family together and stronger than ever.
Americans (and families from all over the west) should look at The Simpsons and take a few notes.
