(Road Runner @ Jun. 26 2008,09:44) Good question  -  and one to which I don't really have an answer. But I believe even ownership of pornography is illegal.

However like all the laws in Thailand (including prostitution!) the enforcement can best be described as variable.
Illegal...Good God...They sell porno right next to the police box on Sukhumvit at Soi 4...It's apparently illegal only if you don't pay the police enough baht...
Paradoxically, this is the basis for the best and worst Thailand has to offer.

I connect to a wireless local service provider and then log on to my VPN which is based in the U.S.
      No problems then.
I can dial up Asiants anytime.

      I guess I should get a life.

Soon I'll put these servers into action.... I'll be giving out some free 'test' accounts when I do.

I was reading today in the news how Air Canada plans on offering in flight Wi-Fi in 2009 through a US company called Aircell. They said the service would only allow web and email access and would block voice VOIP and Skype services. This is simply done by blocking all ports on their firewall and only allowing the ports web and email uses. Web used port 80... and so does Open VPN for this very same reason... Open VPN encrypts your traffic and sends it all through port 80.. it looks like web traffic to the firewall... however your computer will still have access to all services including VOIP and Skype while in flight if you're using our Open VPN server!
