(stogie bear @ Jul. 29 2008,13:06) Just getting through Jeremy Clarkson's books.

Shame we don't have people like him running the country.
Did you enjoy them Stogie? If so I will bring the other two of his books I have over next time.

(andre459 @ Nov. 16 2008,21:26) . He also uses the book to highlight the amount of science behind evolution and to inspire the reader to explore further.
You should read the Devils Chaplin by Richard Dawkins or his new book which is a collection of essays in which the ID argument is dismantled.

In general Dawkins pulls no punches and isnt afraid to confront Muslims or other powerfull religious groups , including the Jewish lobby in the USA. . He speaks his mind and thats to be admired in this day and age.

I surprised hes lasted so long with all the fanatics about .

i only read books about math and electricity and various types of repair manuals.
I love the old electrical theory books from the 1920's & 30's.

                    I haven't read a Novel since 1984.

                        good read, Marshal
Good if your into space food  No, jokes aside it was interesting, but a bit heavy, you would have to be seriously into the culinary world to read this stuff.
I have a back log of stuff like this to catch up with, so i'm going to take it easy!

Just started a fiction paperback called THE EXODUS QUEST by Will Adams. Read his first book which provided ample escapism, from the grim realitys of the uk! Both books are set in Egypt and based around Egyptology, myths and a good bit of adventure!

Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett (a book about cathedral building in 12th century England - it's better than it sounds)

Yes, very good book Mick and now an equally good sequel, "World without end"
I just read "The book Thief" by Markus Zusak" Google it to read the plot on Wickpedia. It is a very unusual book about a young German girl in WW2. an excellent read.

i don't see the point in reading anything unless it applys to Life.
What do they call that ? Fiction ?

I just don't see the point. Hey brothers, I'm not Knoking it. All is good. I just dont get it if i can't apply it.
