Do you buy by the brand?

Some brands are distinctly unique and some brands are the same as the generic, only the labels have been changed. I like the market, the fresh produce and fresh meat especially...but hey...I am a chef! Of course, I love food!!! I love shopping for food!!! Those comments about fat ladies clogging the ailes still has me rolling on the floor....lol....

its one of the big things i miss living in OZ is not getting the stuff you took for granted back home,
costs me $12 to get a jar of hellmans!! and i have to go miles to get it, they dont sell proper weetabix over here and there version of them is awful and also no Malted shreedies either!!!
on the plus side i am able to get Vimto mixed berry cordeial which is great as i can remember ithe time when you could only get it in Manchester,
but have to say generally the quality of fruit and veg is far better over here, and love the fact that there are so many good asian supermarkets too, and they still have the little fruit and veg shops and fish mongers, bakers and great delis

buy some quality brands pasta,canned tomatoes. Hit middle of the road normally with shops own brand but not with cereals or fruit juices.

In the mean time people like me (in proper countries in the real world) will fly our plastic as a badge of progress!

About the only thing I buy by Brand is;
 Food.

I have found Cheap Generic Foods are not nearly as good as the Brand names.
 Peanut butter fer example.   Love the stuff.

Oh,  almost forgot,   I do buy Hot Asian Sex by brand too.

  The FEMBOY  BRAND,    da' best.
