"It's not Gay if you beat them up afterwards." --- Anon
I have been enjoying some of the drinks mentioned on this thread & wanted to express my appreciation to the posters.
The Stogie Bear as an aperitif can really hit the spot though sometimes they can leave a nasty taste in my mouth.
A big Naang Faa on the rocks soon takes away the bitterness. When they are right, too much is never enough,
though the same can't be said for a Seanbeag, they can repeat on me after a few , but drunk in moderation, a nice drop.
I did try a Thaibound once, no idea what it tasted like, rather forgettable.
Special mention should be made for the Kahuna.
Always enjoyable, I like mine with a grain of salt, sometimes I need to tone down the arrogance, rudeness & stupidity, makes it more like a Kahuna-Lite.
My maiden aunt particularly enjoys a few Kahunas in the evening, she"s always liked a big, stiff one.
She mixes hers full strength & I know she sneaks a double occasionally.
I worried she might become a Kahunaholic, but as she is fond of saying :
"A couple of Kahunas after dinner never hurt anyone."
Despite the high cost of living, it continues to be popular.
