  • How often do you visit Thailand?

as i am a thailand resident, i just wonder what its like in the mind of those who live in the west that have never been here... does it seem like some distant fantasy land or sick ladyboy paradise?
especially curious to hear from those who have never been here ever... why not?
because if youre on this forum then you like LBs. and the most and best LBs live in thailand in my opinion. so whats holding you back?

Hmm, let's see, what does LOS mean?

Looking over my two old passports I can count 30 visits to LOS and there are a few more trips in the passport that I lost! I voted in the go very often category.

been a few times, it's a cool place!

great beaches, and if you look hard enough you can find many which are totally empty

              Where the hell is Thailand??

Yeah, I've been a few times...

Longest trip = 18 months (leaving every 90 days for 30 minutes lol)

and that was too short imo...

I've never been to Thailand, but I've been wanting to go for years. Finally, I got the vacation time from work and the money so I can go. If everything goes according to plan I'll be in the LOS in early January. I expect to be there for two weeks.
I plan to visit Bangkok, Phuket and Pattaya. I hope to live out all my naughty ladyboy fantasies. Besides that, I also hope to meet some of the expat, Thai dwellers from this site.

...and two weeks is too short.

That's only 3-4 days in each place.

I misspoke. I'll be there from 6, January until 23, January; that's almost three weeks. Still not long enough I know, but it's the best I can do for now.

Yeah, but when you subtract a couple of days for travel time it's around three weeks.
Right, 9 months, labor I hope my tits don't sag, and that I don't stay fat!

great idea, as usual those are the 3 best places which every traveller to Thailand should see at least once.

The problem with living in the northeast USA is that it takes like 32 hours from door-to-door to get to BKK, about 28 coming back; if not for that tremendous hassle and the waste of 2 or 3 days on each end due to jet lag I'd go more often. self-employed and lots of free time but lots of commitments around here so travelling for more than 2 weeks at a time is difficult so will be staying in this hemisphere for a while.

Australians are lucky, can be there in a matter of hours; were that the deal with us you'd see a lot more yanks going there.

no, 6th til 23rd is 18 days which will be 17 nights...

so, throw in some travel and you've got about 2 weeks
