  • Has anyone changed your life?

Here's a chance to give someone (who changed your life) a mention and some deserved kudos...

We have all met someone or several people whose actions have changed our lives and I thought it would be fun to find out if anyone had any good stories out there.

I don't mean mum and dad or the twat who comes on the telly at 3am promising to make you rich... I mean real folks who you might not have ever met, but who fate decided that you should meet and then something weird or wonderful happened.

Maybe you didn't know it at the time... as was the case with my first story...

    Dallas, Texas - 1988

At the end of 1987 I had been kicked out of Louisiana for working illegally and dumped on the border of LA and Texas...

To cut a very long story short I ended up staying in the Salvation Army on Harry Hines Blvd in Dallas. Each morning we'd get turfed out of the dorm and with the few dollars I had remaining I walked (yes, walked!) all over Dallas looking for work. Up and down Greenville Avenue, Central Expressway and the Dallas' West End...

This had been going on for a few days and I'd been filling in loads of application forms at various night clubs, restaurants and bars.

I had a social security card but across the middle of it were the words "NOT VALID FOR EMPLOYMENT" written on it. (So I got a strip of paper, covered up that bit and had the thing laminated.) No one ever asked any questions about it...

One afternoon I was sat in a bar in Dallas' West End supping a 'happy hour' beer and I got chatting to a girl who had just finished her lunch time shift at The Spaghetti Warehouse...

She said that they needed waiters and I should go. So I did...

As usual I filled out the application form and as usual I talked to a junior manager...

After the usual chat about my situation... (I was so young and naive I didn't lie about anything!) he excused himself and after a few minutes I was introduced to the general manager...

    Gary Gaye

The great man took me into his office (which was by the main customer entrance) and sat me down.

Gary Gaye was about 5' 11'', stocky with a receding hairline and a thick black moustache. He was a very, very dry and sardonic man. His catch phrase was "Chop chop!" when he wanted us to pick up our work rate!

He looked over my application and the conversation went something like this...

Gary - Hello Stogie... This is an interesting application you have here... You are staying at the Salvation Army on Harry Hines, yes?
    Stogie - Yes, sir...
Gary - And you don't have a phone number down here. Do you have one?
    Stogie - No sir, I don't.
Gary - OK... I'm guessing you don't have a car either , so how are you going to get to work?
Stogie - Walk. I walked here today. It's not that far...
Gary - Jeezus... (pause) ...so you haven't got a car or a phone or even a place to live, is that right?
Stogie - Yes, I suppose so...
Gary - For fucks sake, Stogie. You'll never get a job if you fill out an application form like that. Here - let's do another one...

Gary Gaye then proceeded to fill out another application form for me which included his home phone number on it...

"I'll give you a shot, Stogie, but don't let me down, OK?"

I ended up working there for a year and a half...

What a fantastic gesture from a really wonderful man who had a little faith in me from the start...

I'll never forget him or that head start he gave me when I first arrived in Dallas. Things went from strength to strength after that but he was the guy who got the ball rolling for me...

Without a doubt the guy who fixed me my first job in Asia after working for him in the UK. And then moving me to Thailand from Singapore. Great guy and I still have loads of respect for him despite leaving the said company.

No further details required but he always liked a reason to visit Bangkok

    Cheers

I have a strange story like   to tell, well lets just start it like this,

11 years ago, after having one to many fights with my parents, i decided to walk out of the small west of Ireland town i had lived in for most of my life, and i headed to galway, hoping to make a better start of life.

Anyways, things started ok, with friends giving me a place to stay for a while and then when i got my first flat, the landlord wanted £150 and in the evening wanted £180, well i had £150, but the SOB refused to give in, anyways, a GREAT man called Mr. Mullins gave me the money, after he had heard i had slept on the streets for a night, well i was so thankful, for this kind gesture.

He helped me get a job in Mc D's and 9 months later, he asked me to come and work with him in a fast food place called the "Snackbox". we worked together for over 4 years and i will always be gratful to that good friend.
      i love t-girls

        My wife.

She is only person who has excepted me with all my imperfections.
I've always had friends and all have teased me about my imperfections. My wife is the only person that actually enjoys and finds my stupidity and imperfections interesting.

Like I said, I've always had friends and never been alone. But growing up I've always felt alone because of the secrets I have about my sexuality and personal beliefs. But I never let it discourage me. I held my head high and kept on trucking. And when I met my wife from the very begining I told her the truth about what I believe and how I feel. I was absolutely shocked when she looked at me with a big sexy smile and said; " Yes, I understand. "

With out no doubt, My wife has had the biggest influence in my life. She is FLipp'n GREAT !
No matter how hot a Femboy is, no matter how hot he lays his cock on me.

I will Never leave my wife for No Person or Persons.
She is truely the most compatible person for me emotionally .

Back in the late 80s I lost my job , a well paid job I'd been in since the day I left school , cutbacks and all that crap .

I was still a teenager and hadn't a clue how to fend for myself , I ended up on the dole for seven months - the worst time of my life . No one needs lecturing here but to go from having a decent lifestyle to having nothing to look forward to overnight fairly wrecks your confidence .

Anyway my dad got talking to a girl who worked in the personel dept in a factory he called into the odd time , he told her my tale , and they were hiring people at the time , but this was the days when you would get hundreds (and I mean hundreds ) applying for the same job .

She listened to him , gave him a form for me , then when Id sent it back she put me to the top of the pile and gave me a start , it wasn't the best job in the world but it did until I got something better , and more importantly gave me a bit of self respect and confidence again .

I never forgot that , twenty years ago now , I still see her around every few years and always buy her a drink .

Free your mind and your ass will follow .

I know this sounds ridiculous, but for me it has to be Patsy, down soi 8 Pattaya. It was my first ever trip to LOS,and i was wet behind the ears, but totally curious about these so called ladyboys.

So one wet afternoon in Pattaya, with my travel companions safely back in the hotel for an afternoon nap,i went on the beer bigtime,to try to envoke some dutch courage.

Anyway, there was Patsy, sitting at her bar as usual, the srereotypical Ladyboy,as i viewed it-OTT make up,six foot tall, stockings, thigh boots and a barely there dress.
I must have walked up and down the soi, past the bar about ten times, soaked to the skin, wondering 'will i,wont i'.Eventually she comes out from the bar, grabs my arm and says 'you come in bar now'

In i went, and 4 or 5 beers later we were off to loom, for my first ever experience with ladyboy, the sex was so good that from that moment i was totally hooked.
The rest as they say,is history.

Sounds like fuck all, yes, but i can truthfully say,if she hadn't grabbed my arm when she did,i would never have went into that bar,and subsequently my lust for ladyboys may never have been.
A friend in need is a f**king pest

In much the same vein as Mirrimark, I'd have to say it is Natalie who has been the most influential person in my life and she has helped change for the better in so many ways..

Natalie accepted me when we first met and believe me, I was a complete fucking waster...

She gently encouraged me to become less of a waster, and to get an education.

She accepted me when I finally told her I was bi and even more, she was excited by it!

Natalie is the woman that made me truly 'like' women, in all their forms.

Importantly, she also made realise that the perfect woman is both Madonna and Whore

I was raised in a very small town in Northern California...
No more than 2000 people called it their home when I grew up here...The kind of place where you knew everybody and everybody knew you...Most are gone now...But I can remember with great fondness all those who help me along the way...the teachers, the friends, the friends parents...my army buddies...and of course most importantly, my own parents and kin...

But there is only one person who has had a lasting impact on my life as it is now...and that's my daughter...

To this day I can recall in vivid detail her birth...and how
perfect she was on that day when she came into this world...for months after I wanted to be a doctor just so I could relive that moment over and over...I know that's a foolish thought, but it's not a foolish emotion...

And to this day, when I watch her walking towards me, I can see that perfection all over again...No matter how big an asshole I am...no matter what stupid or foolish things I might do or say...she loves me without condition...without judgement...She is perfect...

My signature at the bottom of this and every page I post here is my never ending hope for her...You all might say that's odd to have a tribute to my daughter at the bottom of a porno forum post...but it's there to remind of importance...And that's what she is and she is perfect...

I think this is appropriate, especially for Yanks who grew up watching Mister Rogers.

As for people changing my life, there have been many. I guess it's about one very special person every 2 or 3 years, and I value every one of them.

Retired the top 12.  Need a new dirty dozen.

Update: The new list is coming together: Nong Poy, Anita, Nok, Gif, Liisa Winkler, Kay, Nina Poon.  Is it possible to find 5 more?  Until then, GGs:  Jessica Alba, Yuko Ogura, Zhang Ziyi, Maggie Q, and Gong Li.

Good luck to you both for the up coming arrival of another very influential human being, yes I am talking about the bub, not Lek
