It was touch and go for a while but the wily old campaigner won through.

Lucky Africa and lucky Zimbabwe. They are jumping for joy now.

(marshal @ Jun. 30 2008,20:58)  It's a sad sad world we live in.......
Its the real world we live in.

If anyone did a take on how democracy fares in other African Countries i dont suppose Mugabe is that different.

The other African states dont care because while hes in power the heat is off them.....once hes gone another target will be lined up...

Didn't want to start a new thread, but i see simon mann has got 34 years, after his dubious extradition from mugabe land. About time they brought in thatcher and the rest to serve there time.
Kinda fishy how they can try someone for a crime that wasn't commited?

Found this in Private Eye magazine.

                    Number Crunching

47.9%  Vote against Mugabe in Zimbabwean elections, which EU described as 'travesty of decomcracy' and supported MDC decision not to stand in second round.

53.4%  Vote against Lisbon treaty in Irish referendum, which EU 'regrets' and would like them to run a second time.
                    Don't you love democracy......

                    RR.
Pedants rule, OK. Or more precisely, exhibit certain of the conventional trappings of leadership.
