Unfortunately Africa remains (and it will?!?!) just a shape on the world map.
It seems they can't pull together anything good.

One of the places on earth I'm really not interested to visit. Have been in N.Africa, but there is just an extension of Middle East. Below the Sahara region it's off limit for me.

Some said S.Africa it's not bad...maybe...
