      Klaus Kinski..

Have you ever read his autobiography?

It's the most entertaining autobiography I've ever read. All he talks about is fucking women, how much he hates acting and the people he works with.
haven't read his autobiography yet...have been meaning to for some time. I'm huge fan of him and Herzog, both masters of their craft and complete lunatics.

when making fitscaraldo the indians asked Herzog if he wanted kinski killed, Herzog replied 'wait till we finish the movie'

          The German new wave...

Fassbinder was another madman, he used to shag the female and male actors to get the best performance.

The film with Huey, Lewie and Dewie was indeed called Silent Running.

Bruce Dern was the lead actor who takes the ship Valley Forge with the last trees from Earth and sets them off into space.

And the wonderful closing theme was sung by Joan Baez  -  if only I could get a full version of that theme tune on CD.

            RR.

PS. Interesting to see Streets of Fire show up. I have never regarded it as a particularly good movie but it has got some good parts to it and the music is very good.
I have a copy on DVD myself.
Pedants rule, OK. Or more precisely, exhibit certain of the conventional trappings of leadership.

the notebook ( made me cry, oh gosh and it has almost all of the elements of a love story, not to mention the so cheesy scenes, but it worked!)

sweet November ( i like the story, if ever i wud have my own, i want my story to be like this one, again made me cry)

titanic ( no explanation needed, excellent)

last holiday ( made me laugh, queen latifah rocks)

the pearl harbor ( oh gosh, love story, great handsome leading men, and i just love every ben affleck's movies i've watched)

million dollar baby ( excellent story, and made me cry, was not really a fan of boxing but i got interested as i continued watching it.)

bicentennial man ( fun romantic movie, starred robin williams as a robot)

slum dog millionaire ( let's have some Asians, my friends loved it as well)

brokeback mountain ( not a ts movie, but i can relate to it... and the great heath ledger)

oceans 11 / entrapment ( interesting movies, its great how their plans were worked out)
