Not realling knowing much about any of the politicians in the running I went for Mr.Obama

Reason being: As far as I am aware it has come down to either a black man or a white woman. She used to live there before so I say let the black man win.



Voters like me make democracy farcical I guess...

Im sick seeing this on TV already , and Im led to believe it can go on for months and months yet  

At least in the UK we are just totally disinterested in our polititians nowdays ......

A couple of things Ive never understood about US elections ......

1) Why does everyone get so excited ? ie flags , ticker tape , screaming , hysteria etc
Do they get paid to do this at election rallies , or are they just mad ?

2) Why does Hilliary Clinton put on that animated face and point into the audience pretending to have friends ? Even Bill has been wheeled onstage to do the smiling at our friends act .

3) Is it true all US elections are fixed nowdays ?

Hello Allstar,

Unfortunately (?)  Arnie is Austrian born so does not get a look in to be President of the US.

Seems they forgot about equality somewhere doesn't it?

I don't think are fixed.

But if the Florida governor and Florida secretary of state been emocrats and had the Supreme Court had a 5-4 Democratic majority then Gore may have been elected in 2000.

In close races the adjudication of irregularities often depend on the partisanship of the adjudicators.
