Isn't that depressing rather than cheerful?

Maybe I sound insensitive but its not the case at all. I do care!  But if I had to live my whole life based on how everyone might be sensitive to me.. I would not be living my life as I want it. So you can accept me and my flaws as I am or you can't.

Jake, I believe it is what a song conjures up in somebody. It's not the song so much as it is the type of feelings the song can evoke in someone. Depressing songs can represent pleasant and fond memories I suppose. Otherwise we would all be singing Jingle Bells for the rest of our lives.

Hmm good point. There's a song like that for me but I don't find it depressing either, although you may beg to differ.

I had bliss once for 3 years.

My good GOD!!! Now that's hellishly depressing. Not so much the song but the thought of its creator devoting so much time and energy putting it together. Poor, sad fucker...hahahahaha

Yeah like I said, I had bliss once before I knew what bliss was. So that song resonates but I don't listen to it often. I just want to be done with that part of my life. Yes I deleted every conversation, every picture, trashed every momento of our time together but still sometimes it calls from the grave.

Depressing I agree but if I had a song to put to my emotions, it would be that one.

P.S. they're actually a great band. I'll try and find some of their better non depressing works. Stay tuned!

yep but the only sad part in the song is.

Oh cool, never knew you were an mmorpg gamer. I didn't play wow so much but only because I was so enthralled with Everquest. I played it from release 1999 till late 2007.

And no I won't call you that Tom.
