Here is some of my favorite Thai songs for a change, and goes out to Naang Faa.... as we all are into Thai culture in a way...............its about time.
Asanee Wasan €“ played with them back in the 80€™s, in a drunken stupor in a bar in Pattaya when they were visiting a friend, one of the best old school rock guitarist in Thailand.
This video was well put together, with old and new Thailand. Called €“ €œGroongthep (Bangkok)ma ha na korn€
This is one of my favorites as I could get up and sing and play the dam thing, its all about a destitute that lives in a street that has no road, walking under ladders not giving a fuck as what could be worse than the life he leads, but in a comical sense of humor. The song its self was stolen by a German band and got no1 with it. Free loading bastards. Notice the LB€™s in the video.
This is my first from this band- €˜naun naun naun€™ (sleep sleep sleep) All about a little skinny guy that had a big fat wife, that was so lazy all she wanted to do is sleep all day, fell asleep half way through her housework chores, even half way through putting her make-up on, wile he worked his ass off, then come home to do the cooking and cleaning wile she snored her head off. Eventually he was tired of this and coped on and over fed her so he could go out at night alone to fuck around in the bars. Notice the LB that plays his wife.
Carabao €“ Still the biggest name in Thailand €“ came out went the €˜Eagles€™ came out and as the eagles used a buffalo scull for a record cover, Carabao used a Thai bufflo scull, and was recognized as the €˜Thai Eagles€™ but really a cross between the Eagles, Bob Marley, and Santana, in Thai style. As I say in my thread meeting them in a drunkin stuper and playing with them till 6am two times, I will take to the grave, and can not be expressed in words.---- the famous €˜Made in Thailand€™. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v....ynext=1
Another famous old song €˜Sabai Sabai€™ you have all heard it in Thailand, and was a great hit for a Thai singer called €˜Bird€™ more a Cliff Richard in Thailands eyes, never met the guy but the only link is that he is still the most solo singer in Thailand€¦€¦. But he€™s half Irish€¦€¦€¦ and that good enough. He€™s a Mc Intyre----- Known as €˜Bird Thongchai Mcintyre€™
this is the latest from him with €˜China Doll€™ ---€œFan Jah€
I like to sing the chorus as instead of €˜KEE TOA, BABY€™---- JEPT TOOT, BABY (SORE ASS, BABY) I find that gives them all a laugh LB/GG.
But to end it this is my best mate €œFLY€ I don€™t want to spoil it all in my own thread €˜paultain experence€™ as this song is about me, and I well-up everytime I see or hear it.
The incomparable Man in Black. Just for shits and giggles, see how many people you can name from the video

"Inflexibility is the worst human failing. You can learn to check impetuosity, overcome fear with confidence and laziness with discipline. But for rigidity of mind, there is no antidote. It carries the seeds of its own destruction." ~ Anton Myrer
