I fucking love Flower of Scotland - my favourite song for a sporting occasion

I was in Murrayfield for the '99 Rugby World Cup Quarter-Final (in my green Irish jersey ) between Scotland and New Zealand. When they sang it before the match, it really did make the hairs stand up on the back of my neck

The in the second half, Scotland were trailing badly and the crowd sang it again. You could see it literally lifting the spirits of the scottish players and they staged a comeback and made it a close game (but unfortunately lost)

Magical stuff!!
