Copy Hand bags

Can any of the regular guys help me out please as I have to buy a couple of copy hand bags in Bangkok. Never done this before so dont know where to look. Is my only hope the streets and getting lucky or is there a good place to get some good quality items. MBK perhaps ??

This is a good question and comes up in conversation more than you might think.

I believe that KatoeyLover has better information on this, but I think that Chatuchak Market has a good line in good quality 'repro' ladies bags.

Best to take someone with you who knows what to look for and who can haggle the price for you.

But I'll tell you what i overheard in conversation... there are two types of fake bags... ones that are obvious fakes and ones that are pretty close to the originals.

The good fakes ( 'A' Fakes ) are not at chatuuchak or MBK. Best place to try is the basement level shopping area next door to Gaysorn (and across the street from Central Word Plaza).

However is is getting harder and harder to find them if they do not know you. Last time I went alone they showed me a bunch of crap (Bad leather, Broken Clasps,....) and I had to go back with a friend who they knew before they would show me the 'A' Fakes.

ps. an 'A' fake will still cost you 4-6,000 Baht

Yes, thats where i took snick. There are many types of copy. If you arearound tomorrow (tuesday am) i will take you to the girl i use and you will get a better deal, and no rubbish. pm me if you are interested.

Just updating this thread as to how I got on finding the bags. Thank fully Katoeylover was about and was kind enough to take me to the girl who sells this stuff and I managed to get just what I needed. The basement shop and all the others are moving as of today , so that's no good to any one at all. So I was really lucky. But I got her card with some numbers on so it might be useful to anyone else that needs stuff later.

Anyone got a link for decent copy TAG Heuer watches
I thought I had the bargain of the century when my bargaining skills had the Thai "looky looky" man down to 800 baht in Pattaya last August .
Problem is the bloody thing has been reading 20 past 12 for the last 2 weeks .

Not "too bad" considering they only cost 100 baht  but the battery replacement for them costs 500 baht  here in the

I have been buying good copys from a guy named Mr Wong in Pattaya at the back of the meat market over the road from the Wat's for 5 years.
In Novemeber 07 i tried the lady watch seller 4 stalls up and around the corner from Mr Wong and found her stuff alot better.
Her Breitling and Tags are the best copys i have seen. I pay anything from 2500 baht upwards depends on what you want. I sold a Breitling to a bloke back in Australia for $250.00 and he is more then happy.

For the best and finest quality knockoff high end watches there is only one person to deal with. His name is Buddy and he has a shop in MBK on the 3rd floor across from a sports shop. Buddys Watch Shop has been going for the past ten years and I can say that without question his watches are of the finest quality. I too used to buy two or three Rolex or Tag Heuer watches and bring back with me and sell them for upwards of 150.00 to 200.00. Never had a complaint or demand for a refund. One caveat thought with Buddy, he has been busted on numerous occassions and he is very cautious so don't just go to his shop and ask right away about the good stuff. Do the dance with him, let him see that you are not out to bust him and can be trusted. A few times in my dealings with him he spotted the bad guys checking him out and told me to walk away and come back later. If he does not have what you want he will get it for you within a day or so. His prices of course depend on the quality and type of watch you are looking to purchase.
