Are there really 'other forces' at work here?

Some people really believe it could all be down to Neptune rising in Uranus, and others don't, that's their prerogative as far as I'm concerned and I shan't knock them for it.

Which do you believe in more, pre-destined or happy coincidence?

Is it just a case of human minds needing something to believe in to try to make some sort of sense out of existing?

Take away the higher forces, powers, beings, etc and what becomes the point of it all?

Which brings up one of the oldest questions known to man:

Why are we here? What is point?
