No worries folks. Just because I have a 9yr old daughter doesn't mean she doesn't know how to shoot a Gun. She is well trained and is constintly warned of the consequnences of firearms.
She knows. Matter of fact. She has two guns of her own. A .22cal hand gun and .410 rifle.
I do have a CCW for the state of California.

(bigmick22 @ Jan. 31 2008,08:43) I collect books. I have thousands. My house, my parents' house and my sister's house are full of them. I have no space left - am thinking of asking my lodger to move out.
If I had to choose between LBs and books ... the books would win!!!
I cannot go to sleep without reading for a while first. Many LBs in Thailand know me as the guy with the books - I usually carry one with me, even in LB bars.
I once went to La Bamba without one and three different LBs asked me where my book was.
I often read 3-4 books at the same time. I get really excited about new books coming out and often go nuts in bookstores and spend hundreds of euro at a time. I've probably spent the GDP of a small african country on books. I have several editions of some books - i.e. dulicates, they will be different re-issues though (different artwork etc)
I also collect chess sets from different countries (mainly Russian and various Asian countries) and computers/laptops
Good man Big Mick i'm a book fan my self, and have that ability to read 3-4 books at a time,i think books are an addiction mate! The reason i read so many at the same time is you always think the next book will be a better read!!True or not? My personal weakness is cookbooks, mainly because cooking is one of my hobbies, but it was getting a bit out of hand at one, time i was spending 200 euros a montth just on cook books. Needed to know what the top restaurants secrets were. Then the misses asked why i had several thousands euros of cook books.?? Ihave now stopped.
But i still buy any other book i can get my hand on LOL

Always fancied the idea of owning a small independent book shop, selling first editions, antique books and independent writers works that don't see the light of day with the big stores.

I nearly got as far as renting a stall weekends, in one of the local markets, i was going to sell mainly second hand cookbooks,as i have some really expensive books from restaurants(el bulli),but this book seems to go up in value every year, so i could not bring my self to sell that book and others that i collect, plus i am mad enough to try and cook from these books.
Then i thought i would just sell second hand books and see where it led, eventually the idea just ended up being lost, but what a dream!
Online bookselling looks a good option to start, with little research, i have done you really need to find a niche market i.e. first editions, manuscripts, old maps and antique books.
