Buddha loves me ......
Today I was shopping at a local grocery chain called Lablaws here in Canada. They had these 13 inch color TV€™s made by Toshiba that they were selling for only $99.44 Canadian Dollars. I didn€™t really need another TV but it was such a great deal.. I have a Toshiba HD set, and two Sony Trinitron sets in the bedrooms but I thought it might be nice to have this small set in the kitchen. So I picked it up and put it in my cart. On my way to the checkout counter I passed the floral department and they had these various sized Buddha statues. There was the one with the fat belly sticking out€¦ I remember an old Chinese girlfriend telling me to rub his belly and he will give you money. So here I do it as I pass this Buddha statue thinking now I will get some money somehow€¦. So I check out and pay for the TV and everything else I bought however I feel something is wrong€¦ I thought everything I bought would have cost much more then what I paid€¦ everything is scanned in using the bar codes so there is no making a mistake€¦. But something seems wrong€¦ but this is a good thing so I don€™t really worry but get out of the store. Once I got in my car I took a good look at the receipt and what do you know€¦. They charged me only $59.44 for the TV set !!!!! Now that€™s $40 less they the great deal at $99.44 so now it€™s a fucking great deal! So I start to drive home and then I realize that this was the work of the fat belly Buddha!!!!!!!! Just 5 minutes earlier I rubbed his belly and I receiver $40 just like that€¦€¦ WOW!
On top of that when I took the TV out of its box it says on the back €œMade in THAILAND€
